Tired but convenient
The living and dining area was nice. There could be more casual sitting in the living room. Love the view from the windows and deck. It would’ve been nice to have curtains on some of the big windows. I did not realize the main entrance to the property was downstairs. The stairs going from the bottom level to the top level were extremely steep. This, and the first step being high off the floor/almost a double step, was difficult for Grandma. The bathroom door didn’t lock so that created some privacy issues. All of the appliances were extremely old and not in good working order. The oven took forever to cook and the dishwasher didn’t work at all. We had to hand wash every dish prior to use because the cleaning staff were apparently putting the dishes away dirty not realizing that the dishwasher wasn’t working. The coffee pot was gross and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The floor was dirty and everything needed dusting. Little details that make the stay more pleasing were absent. There was excellent communication with the management staff. Overall, the place was a great location, but not what we expected for the cost.
