- Noise that is unreasonable in the judgment of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibited at any time. Quiet Hours are between 10 P.M. and 7 A.M.
- All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are "highways" for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance
- Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots unless this home's owner or property manager has told you he has explicit permission for you to do so. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed
- If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at: the MPOA Owners' Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive
- NOTE: Buses, campers and RVs may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay

Wonderful Cabin!
We loved our stay! The house was big and comfortable. The kids loved the arcade setup in the basement! For mountain bikes this place was great as it was only a short drive from both the bike park and the overlook trailhead for the western slope. If you've got an e-bike you can actually make the climb from the Cabin to the trailhead, which is fantastic. There is a lot more to the MassNut resort than we were expecting, plenty to do if you don't want to ride something down a mountain. My ONLY real gripe with the place was the state of the cookware. Aside from an enabled cast iron pot and another pot for water, all of the other pans were unusable due to the non-stick being very badly scratched. I understand that not all guests are respectful of what they find on the property but more useable cookware would have been sweet. Maybe somemore silverware too. (My recommendation would be some cheap lodge cast iron pans and some posted instructions on what to do with them. You can't kill cast iron pans. Just keep them out of the dishwasher and everyone wins.) Oh, almost forgot! Nothing to do with the Cabin but my wife was horrified that the local water park wanted to charge like $30 for freaking towels. Not a knock on the cabin but it would be sweet if something was posted about this. Overall we loved it! I know I'm looking forward to coming back. The Western Slop trails were an absolute treat and I never got a chance to ride down the amazing rock garden in the Cabin's back yard!

Perfect!
We had the best time! The host proactively communicated with us, the house was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. The house was perfect for our group of six adults and six children. Fun games for the kids and plenty of space to hang out. We enjoyed home-cooked meals thanks to the thoughtful cookware, serving dishes, and tableware for adults and children. We would definitely stay here again!

My family loved this place! Great location, right around the curve from Massanuten tubing, skiing, and water park are all a 5 min drive. Place is so clean and beautiful. So many fun things in the bottom floor to keep the kids occupied! All the bedrooms are great size and beds make it easy for families! Property manager answered immediately whenever we had questions!! Awesome all the way around

Family Fun
Had the greatest weekend! House to huge! And super cute! Had a mixed age group (9-91) and this house accommodated each and everyone perfectly! All the games downstairs made for so many laughs and smiles. Mornings on either porch are picturesque. Waking up with a cup of coffee watching the snow come down was the prefect start to the day! Location is wonderful! We would love to make this a repeat event!

A house for all seasons
The Madison Cabin provided accommodations for a family of ten to gather. We could enjoy being together or finding places for solitude such as the front and back porches or the fire pit. Bring cameras for pictures of the deer which walk the property. An ideal house for whichever season you are fortunate to visit.

The house was very nice and clean and in a nice neighborhood. There was still a load of damp towels in the dryer when we checked in and though there were plenty of towels for both bathrooms the upstairs bathroom was not stocked with any upon our arrival. The damp towels in the dryer could be because the dryer seemed to be pretty slow and house keeping probably ran out of time to get them finished. I gave communication with the property manager 3 stars because he appears to be a man of very few words. The vrbo listing showed more parking spaces than the confirmation email I received after the final payment was made through evolve, when I emailed the property manage about this asking how many spaces there were the initial response was “plenty of spaces”. Admittedly this turned out to be accurate but I wanted an actual count since I was paying pretty good money to stay there. While we were there we ran out of propane for the fire table and when I emailed the property manager he responded quickly and brought out a couple full tanks pretty quickly. So man of few words but gets the job done. Will, the owner contacted me on the day of check in to touch base and see if we had any questions or needed anything. Location on the resort turned out to be something we used more than we expected. The fact that the house is in a neighborhood on a resort didn’t curb stop us from seeing quite a bit of wildlife. I would recommend this house.

Absolutely beautiful home! We decided to spend Memorial Day weekend in this gorgeous cabin & we are so happy we did. Nicely decorated, wonderful game room, very spacious, clean and cozy! Will the home owner reached out and provided everything we needed and was very accommodating. We loved the fact that we could step right out into nature & we’re minutes away from all of the activities and attractions nearby. Thank you for opening your home to all of us veteran families.

The perfect mountain retreat
Our group of friends had a great time at this property! It's even bigger than it looks and has awesome outdoor space, only 8 of our 12 friends could come but we would have all been comfortable regardless. The ski hill is less than a 5-minute drive away and there are so many other activities nearby. It was clean, quiet, and had tons of games for people of all ages. Will, the owner, was so helpful and responsive! We do a ski trip every year and will likely return to this property.

Very nice home
Great home, great location, great for families. We stayed in the home with our kids and grandkids so that we could go tubing. The house is perfect for families of all ages. Games, indoor activities in the basement, bunk rooms, washer/dryer with soap and dryer sheets, porta crib, tvs galore and great outdoor space. There is parking for at least 4 cars in the driveway. We plan to return!

We enjoyed this house so much! Adults had their space upstairs and the kids age 7-12 were able to enjoy all the games in their space downstairs. The internet was great! Enough hot water for 8 showers back to back. Communication with the owner has been above and beyond. Apparently we have left clothing behind and he kindly reached out regarding getting those back. Very clean. Check in/check out was simple. We will definitely recommend this space and look forward to staying there again.

Fantastic stay!
I’m a JMU alum, and 8 of my former fellow classmates wanted a cabin near Harrisonburg to hang out for the weekend. This place exceeded expectations. The property itself was beautiful. I wish I had more time to spend at the cabin, as there was so much to do. An entire game room downstairs?? The hosts did a great job of making sure all essentials were stocked in the house. They also provided great advice via text, and were available to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent property!
We had an excellent weekend celebrating my wifes birthday at the Cabin Madison. The cabin is well equipped, very spacious, clean, recent upgrades, tons of super fun games, "well TV'ed", a nice outdoor seating area and just wonderful. The host was very responsive and just a superb experience all around. We have VRBOed multiple different places at Massanutten and this is our favorite by far. Hope to come back again!
