Deer wander through the yard and birds are chirping as you relax on the screened in porch. This home features an open deck to relax and you can grill your favorite meal on the gas grill. Relax by the gas firepit on the side patio. A picnic while sitting at the picnic table in the backyard allows you to be at peace at the edge of the woods.
Ready for family fun? A large family/game room features a 75-inch Smart TV to cheer on your favorite team or enjoy a movie. A shuffleboard table allows for a friendly competition between friends and family, or step back in time and enjoy a game of Pac-Man on an arcade game. Plenty of room to enjoy your family and fun activities! The ski area at Massanutten Resort is also just a five-minute drive away, the waterpark just a ten-minute drive from the home.
The home features 3, king bedrooms. One is located on the first floor with an ensuite bath with walk in shower. Upstairs, there are two king bedrooms and hall bath with a shower/tub combo. All bedrooms have a SmartTV.
The living room is bathed in natural light with cathedral ceilings and skylights. It features a gas fireplace to warm up by in the winter. A 65-inch SmartTV is also in the living room, just steps away from the game room. This allows for one part of your family or group to relax while the others release energy with friendly competition in the game room. The well stocked kitchen is a step up from the living room and features an open concept with ample space to prepare a meal for a large group. New appliances, granite countertops, and custom cabinetry make this kitchen a delight to prepare meals for your family and friends.
A back deck off the living room allows for indoor and outdoor living. A gas grill on the back deck makes it easy for any cook to prepare a delicious meal. A screened porch allows you to enjoy a quiet space while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and listen to the babbling brook. A patio near the front door to the home has a gas fire pit to enjoy the evenings.

Guests have access to the entire home except for one locked space for owner storage and supplies. An entry code for the digital keypad for the home will be generated specifically for you and sent to you before check in.
All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. A washer and dryer are available in the home for your use. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, coffee maker, and the basics (filtered water, some condiments, some spices, etc.) - just add your favorite groceries.
The flat driveway fits 4 cars in front of the property. Additional free parking is available in Resort parking lots.
The house is 5 minutes from the ski area and about 10 minutes from the water park. Two golf courses are easily accessible, and Painter's Pond is just down the road if you're in the mood for catch-and-release fishing.
SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.
This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason. **
Outdoor surveillance is located on exterior entrances. It is motion activated.
This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations as well as federal and state laws and ordinances.

This home has designated parking (a driveway). All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road and if you are parking on the street you need permission to ensure you are not parked on someone else's property. There is an overflow parking area if needed where you can be directed. Buses, campers, and RV's may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.
*Fires are strictly prohibited at this property except in the designated fire pit provided. A spark screen must be used at all times and the fire may NEVER be left unattended. Fire pits may not be used during quiet hours from 10pm to 8am.
No illegal substances are permitted at the home and Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.
All Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed. Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife. Trash should be removed regularly.
**Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs
*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.
*We are not able to honor early check-in or late check out requests.

This home has a gas grill - Charcoal is not allowed. If you use charcoal in the gas grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)
If any items are unplugged from an outlet or device (like a tv), please be sure to plug it back in before checkout
