"We appreciated the location, view and cozy guesthouse. We wanted to be close to the university as we were visiting our son. The kitchen windows and main entrance face the main home so there is less privacy but that wasn’t a big issue for us. The best highlights of the home for me was the great view, easy parking, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, warm fireplace in master, and comfortable seating in the living area. The laundry machines were an added bonus for our son. It is a very relaxing setting and we would stay again."

"A clean and maintained property. The proprietor seems to put a lot of effort into making it welcoming and livable. I enjoyed having a full kitchen and basic ingredients (spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, etc.) without having to buy full quantities. Some older details need work like the shower faucet. It was tricky to figure out how to change the temp. Loved having a laundry facility and free parking! All in all a great little spot to call temporary home. Would book again. "

"The property's location is minutes from town but feels like hours from the city. It's evident that a lot of love has gone into the property. The house is an open invitation for a place to relax. The attention to detail and cleanliness add to the relaxation. All I needed was my personal belongings and food. The water quality was terrific. There are many options to relax: a jacuzzi, excellent trails, or outdoor activities. There is even a volleyball net in the front yard. I highly recommend this rental. "

"This was the perfect place for us to stay at while we were visiting the area. It was a central location to be able to do day trips to Eureka, Arcata, Trinidad and Fern Canyon. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful backyard. The street is pretty dark so be careful when driving. The listing is accurate. Two of the rooms are connected, but can be seperated a sliding barn door. The only thing I wish there was more of was bath towels or access to the washing machine/ dryer. I would definitely stay here again though. "
