Very disappointed! Called two days prior to our arrival to ensure we had a crib in our suite, we were assured there would be one but when we arrived, they were out. It was already 11pm and we were all overtired. Got the key card to the rooms but when we go up there, they did not work. The girl from the front desk had walked past my husband struggling to get the key card to work but ignored it. I went back to the front desk and the young girl fixed them but the checkin process took over 45 min total! The room was NOT clean but at this point we were too tired to deal with it at midnight. The curtains were torn, falling off with holes in them. There was some sort of substance on the window sill that was also on the outside screen. There were cigarette burns on the floor, though we asked for a non-smoking room. There were stains on the couch and chair. The shower still had blue soap residue from previous users and there was dried soap trails along the walls and around the tub. When you turned the sink on, it sprayed everywhere! I had to put a washcloth in the sink otherwise you would get soaked from the water pressure spray. Hallway carpets were all loose making ridging that you trip over. Breakfast was a joke, everything was bone dry and our toddler wouldn’t even eat the French toast. Very disappointed when this looked like a good hotel that was clean.

The property seems like it need an upgrade. While I didn’t use the bed part of the sofa bed, I couldn’t really sit comfortably on it, as it looks like it was broken. The furniture was worn and frankly a little dirty and the bathroom looked dingy. The bed was soft and lumpy but at least the pillows weren’t too bad. The breakfast was mediocre - the eggs and corned beef hash were pedestrian at best.

Breakfast was ok. People were friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. Sofa in room not in good shape, springs trying to come through the cushions. All in all a good stay for the visit to Heshey.

We were very disappointed with the original room given at check-in. The bathroom was dirty like the floor had not been cleaned/mopped. The bedding was stained in multiple spots, and the worst of it, we killed two roaches in our room. One we found in our takeout food, which had to be thrown out, so a loss as well. We were given another room when complaint was made with no issue.
