Old half-timbered house of a former watermill, 600 sqm garden

The old half-timbered house was originally a watermill and is the family home, it has a 600 sqm garden that you can use alone.
The house is ideal for a larger group (up to 10 people) or 2 families. The house is completely renovated and rebuilt.
In the garden there is a grill pavilion with a sun terrace. The course of the 'Wilden Aar' borders directly on the garden.
It is an ideal starting point for many excursions in the Sauerland or neighboring Waldecker Land. Winterberg and Willigen are a 15-minute drive away. The Diemelsee is 25 minutes to the Edersee about 40 minutes.
The house is ideal for hikers. This is how the Rothaarsteig, the Uplandsteig, the 'Höhenflug' run in the immediate vicinity.
Mountain bikers or racing cyclists can start directly from the house and explore the wonderful nature.

Schöne Auszeit im Sauerland
Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Ferienhaus. Trotz seines Alters ist es hell und freundlich eingerichtet und bittet ausreichend Platz. Das kein Backofen vorhanden ist, hatten wir schon im Vorfeld gelesen und uns entsprechend eingerichtet. Brötchen kann man werktags im Ort beim Frischemarkt holen und abends haben wir aufgrund des guten Wetters meistens gegrillt. Dies war bei dem schönen und großen Garten mit Pavillon ideal. Vom Nachbarn im angrenzenden Haustrakt haben wir fast nix mitbekommen und uns auch nicht gestört gefühlt. Die Buchungformalitäten klappten reibungslos und nochmal vielen Dank an Familie Becker für die vielen Tipps.

2,5 tolle Tage in einem prima Ambiente! Alle waren happy und die Unterkunft bietet wirklich ein schönes Umfeld. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten auch den Außenbereich genießen! Schön war dass alle die Zeit genießen konnten - Altersspanne 3 bis 76! Dank an Familie Becker als Gastgeber, wir haben und dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Für Gäste ohne Auto ist der Ort allerdings nicht sehr sinnvoll. Also wir alle zusammen fanden es toll!

Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Platz!! Sehr zu empfehlen!!
Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, langes Wochenende in dem Ferienhaus. + Viel Platz für 10 Personen + 5 Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer (1 Bad pro Etage) + Gute Betten + Gute Ausstattung in der Küche + Schöner Garten mit Pavillion direkt an einem Bach + Sehr netter Kontakt Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft zum Verweilen und als Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung
Wir waren im Mai 2024 mit insgesamt 9 Personen (davon 2 Kinder) in der schönen ehemaligen Mühle und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich schnell und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben das Haus mit 3 Familien gebucht. Das Haus ist schön und umfassend eingerichtet. Es bietet ausreichend Platz und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für Erwachsene und Kinder. Die Bäder sind modern ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
