Gute Einrichtung, nettes Personal und super Frühstück. Wer mit offenem Fenster schlafen möchte sollte allerdings ein Zimmer in dem vom Bahnhof abgewandten Bereich verlangen.

Das Hotel liegt schön zentral, es sind nur 10 bis 15 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt und zum Theater. Das Personal war sehr nett, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.

Es ist praktisch, weil man gratis parken und von hier aus gut in die Stadt laufen kann, aber eigentümlich, weil die Rezeption im ersten Stock ligt und offenbar selten besetzt ist. Seinen Schlüssel in einem anonymen Einkaufszentrum aus einem Tresor zu holen fühlt sich nicht wie persönlicher Service in einem Hotel an und so billig ist es eigentlich auch nicht, dass man das erwarten müsste. Die Dame dort war aber am Morgen des Check Out sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war nichts besonderes, aber ok. Der Ausblick auf den Bahnhof - naja, aber das Zimmer war wirklich ganz neu und sauber, wie es auf den Bildern aussah

Gewerbeobjekt in Meiningen
Zimmer und Personal (sofern ich es angetroffen habe) waren in Ordnung. Vom Hotel habe ich mir auch wegen der guten Bewertung eine andere Vorstellung gemacht. Der "Kaiserhof" ist ein gesichtsloses Gewerbeobjekt neben dem Güterbahnhof. In diesem Objekt belegt das Hotel zwei (oder drei ?) seelenlose, grell neonbeleuchtete Flure. Bei meiner Ankunft 17:45 Uhr war keine Menschenseele da und nach telefonischer Anweisung musste ich den Schlüssel aus einer Box angeln. Kann man alles machen, aber dafür war der Preis zu hoch.
