Not friendly and smiling staff. Left a box of chocolates and because the staff didn’t write my room number, it was difficult to get it back. Have to go to the reception to collect the towels because the housekeeping staff didn’t return to clean the room when I was busy in the room. To make it a worse experience, the staff told me to tag my own luggage and bring to the store room because they don’t provide the service to tag or roll the luggage because it is express hotel…. It was not cheap. Disappointing as I have stayed a few times in this hotel at Holiday Inn express at Little Collins street

For a four star hotel, the "housekeeping" is very lax, for 3 days, all they did was come in and haphazardly made the bed. "Room service" involves going down to reception to get a meal on a paper plate in glad wrap, and being served badly cooked fish with cold and salty sweet potato fries. Apart from the friendly young man who checked me in, the staff treat you like a bothersome burden that they can do without. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with the experience, the only reason I ended up staying was because it was close to Southern Cross Station. The staff need a good long and hard think about the experience they are delivering customers, because this is certainly not a twelve hundred dollar experience.

Nice property but room cleaning staff didn’t take old dishes which is gross. They were left sitting for 2 days. Don’t bother eating there as the food is rank. The burger was probably one of the worst I’ve had and breakfast was very average. Try the Korean downstairs, it’s delicious!
