We’ve stayed here many times and it has always been a 10 out of 10 but this time was different because the cleaning quality, and the staff, which was probably our favourite qualities in the past. I’m assuming the “respect” was gone when I had some card troubles as my overseas card was acting up, found countless cleaning errors which is something I’m usually not upset about as it is a meticulous job and very challenging but we had dirty tissues behind the bed, coins under the bed too, disgustingly dirty fridge and the tv was very faulty (which happens we understand) but the snobby attitude from the housekeepers and front desk, it definitely ruined the amazing past experiences, the hotel is still stunning and has everything you’d want but the staff were very nasty, not the restaurant/bar staff, especially the lady with the morning coffee and pastries, she was amazing and so was the restaurant staff along with the food and the quality. I really hope this comes off as constructive criticism as we are a fan of the hotel and everything has to offer. I hope our next stay is better than this one and more like the ones in the past

Overall great property. Really nice rooms and facilities. Staff weren’t overly helpful with parking if you didn’t want to pay for expensive valet. The staff during breakfast weren’t confident made a lot of errors, possibly understaffed.

Had a fantastic stay at the Dorestt. The staff were fantastic, friendly and couldnt have been more helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy and the rooms extremely well appointed.

It is not as ‘flushy’ as the Dorsett in Gold Coast, but as well a very new and with nice facilities. What we didn’t like is the long waiting times at the check out and even longer waits for the elevators. It is a very low hotel with only couple of floors but with a long corridors and many rooms. Because of the limited height the room views aren’t great as the hotel is surrounded by many tall buildings. And half of the rooms have the windows facing into an indoor backyard which some may consider a better view then the ‘street view’. So if the view isn’t a priority and you can wait for the lift and at the checkout then the hotel is a great choice with lots of Korean and Japanese restaurants and eateries around.

When we have stayed here before it has been wonderful. This time not so much. Staff were lovely as always but the room mattress & pillows terrible, the coffee machine when we went to use it was dirty inside, hadnt been cleaned. Meal in the bar was not nice at all, but previously it has been really great.

I had a mostly great stay at this hotel. The room was stunning—very new, clean, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The facility access was also top-notch, with great amenities available. Unfortunately, there was an issue during our visit. My sister injured her foot at the pool because the door was too heavy and scraped her foot when it shut. When we sought help, we found that the first aid kit was poorly stocked, which was concerning. I hope the hotel considers upgrading their first aid kit soon, as it’s essential for handling emergencies properly. Overall, while our experience was positive, this incident left a bit of a negative impression.
