Almost perfect! The room was spotless and comfortable. Kitchen and laundry worked out great although instructions for the oven would have been helpful. Desk staff were particularly good. Our room was very quiet even though it was right next to the elevator. Pool and hot tub were very good. Fitness center looked like it just had a couple treadmills and ellipticals. The location was great - close to Southern Cross Station to get airport and tour busses and a few blocks from other tram stops. Pharmacy and small grocery store nearby. Nice coffee house about 25 ft from entrance. Local Indian restaurant across the street. The area is not quite as active places as more into the CBD but we loved that it was more relaxed and we could take the tram or walk to those areas easily. I would stay there again and again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They held our luggage after we checked out which was awesome and convenient for us! The room was clean, comfortable and all the amenities including the gym, pool and sauna? My gosh, what more can i say. Very happy with my stay at The Meriton :)

We had a great stay here. It’s not just the hotel it’s the Excellent staff too.We had a difficulty to buy ticket online for footy on Friday 26th of July. And the two lovely staff help us and guided us to get the ticket. Thank you so much. We will definitely stay here again next time we go back to Melbourne.
