The property had maintenance works organised for early morning which they did not communicate. The maintenance works were extremely loud in the rooms/units, even on the 26th floor. I was locked out of my room on multiple occassions because the flat next door pulled shut the communal unit access door. Probably to block out the maintenance work racket.

one of the bedrooms had a glass insert, so every time a light was turned on, e.g. someone going to the toilet, the whole bedroom would light up. The aircon unit is on the balcony and blew freezing cold air, had to turn off the heating so someone could actually sit out there.

Excellent location for a few days stay. Within easy walking distance to shopping and dining options. Room very spacy and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Parking is tight and narrow - large cars would have difficulty. Staff friendly.

Initially the room I had booked was basic with an ajoining room which did not suit my husband & I. When I called to request changing to another room we were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment on a high level. It was fantastic for our stay & had a washer dryer/balcony/kitchen, comfy bed & everything we neeed. Staff very helpful & allowed us late check out too. Would stay again.

This was fantastic. The only odd thing was the TV in the main room was not plugged in to anything, no aerial no Internet. Odd. I used my phone as a hotpoint and that took a while to work out. If you don't have lots of data this would not be an option.

Location was pretty good. Bedding configuration was not as agreed upon and took 3 hours for it to be rearranged, one room had no towels. Carpark is very tight and a nightmare of more than one car is moving. There are other places to stay in Melbourne similarly priced but superior to the experience at the oaks.

staff were out of this world rude and just no customer service skills at all on the Sunday the 18th of August, they hung the phone up whilst i was speaking, were utterly rude to my partner and straight up didn’t care one bit about what we were saying and just cut us off. the staff in the Monday tho were beautiful. The room was disgusting with stains everywhere and the tvs not working what so ever

Front desk Staff were amazing but property owner/managemt team need to do something about the noise pollution and the fact that it’s very hard to renter the hotel room/apartment when the door mechanism is not working, it’s not acceptable to have to try multiple room cards to try and enter a room only to be advised the room lock is not working, We were room moved but this should not be happening. Your staff should not be placed in this position because of fixable maintenance issues that have not been addressed. Your maintenance guy attended but gave us new keys but as soon as he had clocked off for yhe day the issue happened again where we could not get into our room. Maintenance worker should have changed the lock battery as soon as there was as there was an issue
