Punt Hill South Yarra Grand was a great place to stay as everything is close by especially Chapel Street. Had a ball.

Didn’t hit the mark
Little bit disappointed to be honest. Stayed a few times before and very happy with location and convenience so continued to come back but this stay didn’t hit the mark. Room freshly painted as we were told but as carpet is to be replaced it looked as though it was used as the drop sheet. Room poorly cleaned with 3-4 smoke butts on the balcony area and the inside floor and couch with chip and biscuit crumbs. Credit card was taken on arrival but received a call on the second day to say that our room key had been cancelled and we had no access and we needed to pay immediately. No issues other than they just hadn’t processed payment.

I have stayed at Punthill South Yarra several times and enjoy the value for money, location, the friendly reception people. On this occasion there were a few things missing when house keeping came though. There was no tee towel to dry the plates and cutlery and no soaps in the bathroom. The rest of the room was clean.

Overall the apartment was great for our two night stay and I would stay again. My only negative feedback is that the room wasnt as clean as others I have stayed in. It also needed extra pillows (only two on the bed) and a full length mirror. Some of the lights also didn't work. However, the location made it an almost perfect stay.
