Excellent customer service - extra pillows, phone charger and bottle opener delivered cheerfully upon request. Check in process a breeze. Early check in not possible and cafe not open long hours so couldn’t use VIP voucher. Pillows terribly thin and bed not particularly comfortable. Bathrooms very dated and shower intensity lacking. Bathroom tap sprays on use. Toiletries divine! Love staying at this venue as the staff are so friendly and the rooms very clean. Excellent location and common areas very clean and well cared for. Pricing reasonable for what is delivered. Will definitely be back!

Great hotel enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious and location walking distance to Palais (we went to a concert here), Luna Park, the Espy and Acland Streer.

Easy access to the city. Tram stop almost directly out front of hotel. Quiet place. Request rm 228 if staying there, in the corner no rooms next to away from front of hotel.

Accommodation was fine but I left my phone charger there unfortunately, and was told after checking out at 1000, and calling within 2 hours of leaving , that the room already had been let out and serviced, and nothing was left in the room. I am very disappointed as I did not have the charger, and knew it was left in the room.

Has to get my door card re done twice because they didn’t set it up properly so I couldn't actually get into my room. Annoying but not the end of the world. Was reasonably clean and quiet although you could hear doors banging in the halls. Staff were polite and helpful.

Beds were comfortable. Despite being on Fitzroy Street, it was quiet. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Good cafe downstairs. Convenient parking. The knob to switch between shower and bath didn't work well though, and we couldn't work out how to turn the room lights on (even after inserting room card). Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Room was fairly clean. The bathroom door could do with a good clean, as well as the vents that are thick with dust. The complimentary 'sanitary items' box in the bathroom was empty; not sure what was supposed to be in it (cotton tips? shower cap?), but it was pointless having it there. The walls were super thin; our neighbour was on the phone from midnight til maybe 4am, and it was impossible to block out his voice. The bed was firm on one side and had no support on the other; my partner put pillows under the edge to stop from rolling out overnight. So, pretty crappy sleep overall. But it was otherwise clean and comfortable. Only saw one staff member and he was quite helpful and friendly.
