Nice hotel on St Kilda Road at a reasonable price. Had a function near Albert Park so was in a perfect location as only a short walk to the venue. Some nice cafes nearby for morning breakfast/coffee. Easy tram access to the city if required.

Will never stay at this place again! Disgusting.
Have stayed plenty of times before over many years and has been our preference. Has seriously deteriorated in appearance and cleanlines. Filthy windows, floors, balcony, blinds, skirting boards. Pillow covered in black marks. Blind won't stay up and falls down. Bed in our Queen Room was a double that we didn't discover until we returned at midnight. Staff could not provide instructions regarding their own car parks. Got trapped in the car lift. Spent literally an hour checking in while stuffing around with car lifts and car parks when staff could not give a clear answer. Car lift beeping sensors weren't working. Never answer phone, never return calls up to 3 days prior. Upgraded one of the guests rooms when my parents got trapped in the car lift for 20 mins. Inadequate lighting for make up application. Carpets in common areas were disgusting and stretched and a trip hazard. Will never stay again!

Great value stay and location.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room had all the amenities you needed, was comfortable and a great location to the tram stop right out the front. My 7yo is now jealous that he didn't get to try the car elevator for the on-site parking and wants me to book again!

Swipe left... if you like cleanliness, I would not recommend this property. Long hair found all over the apartment. Couch not cleaned and it stunk. Holes in the carpet. Holes in walls. Filthy balcony. In-room coffee/tea facilities consisted of 2 coffee, 4 sugar sachets and 2 tiny pots of milk. I would be surprised if this property remains in business for much longer

The room is very small. There is no AC in the room, you only get an electric fan. There was only 1 spoon in the cutlery drawer. Questionable characters hang around the streets near the property which makes it feel unsafe as anyone could easily follow you in and there is no one at reception at night as reception is not 24/7, you need to call a number you need assistance.

The motel was a beautiful place close to everything unfortunately the facility in the room were dirty. I found medication under my bed. The check-in lady was very rude. There was a fire alarm on our first night. There I was seven floors up with an injury and had to come down seven flights of stairs. No one told us when we could go back inside as we still stood outside waiting.

After a 4 hour drive we weren’t proactive in complaining about the state of the rooms - we just wanted a shower and to rest. My room was so hot! The wall air conditioner didn’t work but there was a fan - ineffective in cooling the room on a 36 degree day. My colleagues room stank of cat piss! She wasn’t sure if she was imagining it… i went to her room this morning and was gagging on the stench in her room!! I have phoned the hotel this morning and left a message and again tonight but the call went to voicemail both times. Parking was convenient - complete with car lift - and very reasonable at $20 per night. If rooms didn’t stink or were cool this would be a very different review as amenities were very good. My room had a fabulous view across Albert Park Lake to the bay and pretty lights at night. Beds were comfortable, linen clean and units well appointed. These rooms should never have been leased in their condition 😡
