A very cool spot!
The Standard X was modern upscale with very thoughtful layout and stylish decor. Lots of attention to detail. Nice rooftop deck. Good overall ambiance.

For anybody that has stayed at 'The Standard' in the US, this one is affordable and brand new. When I saw we had a Standard here in Melbourne the week before I booked a room to stay in going to a music gig around the corner then one in Northcote. I got a tram home at midnight. So saved on a $30 Uber back to SE suburbs where I live. The bed is so comfy. The decor is great. Would make a lovely treat night for locals or a great stay in a really fantastic area for visitors.
