We really enjoyed our stay at the property, it was lovely and a great area! The only thing holding back from a full 5-star rating is that the pool was not functional while we were there and we were very much looking forward to a swim after sight seeing. Otherwise a great stay.

Awesome room with absolutely everything you need (kitchen, laundry, air conditioning), not to mention the huge backyard! The vibrant neighbourhood is full of cafés, restaurants, ice cream/gelato, record stores, etc. Trams to the City are a very short walk away. It would have been absolutely perfect with more attention paid to dusty surfaces. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the property.

The hotel Veriu in Collingwood was a very pleasant surprise.. Collingwood is a trendy very young and really fun area to stay. Great restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. The Hotel was awesome had all the comforts of home including a washer/dryer fridge stove & dishwasher. Beds were so comfy and the patio in the superior room was spacious enough we had friend c to visit outside. We would stay there again and Highly recommend the Hotel Veriu.. A great shout out to Mary who looked after us and helped us navigate around Collingwood!!

The toilet was almost unusable as it was too small and had a rail installed over the toilet. The appliances didn’t work. There were faeces in the elevator although these were cleaned. The price was greater than advertised on arrival which we only found out during the stay when comparing. Complained but no responsible management could be contacted. Disorganised.

Good, but a bit of air-conditioning noise
I really like the place and I’ve gotta say that even facing out to the front there wasn’t any traffic or noise. The only real problem is the air-conditioner was just so loud and clunking sounding. It’s definitely something that they need to attend to because I had it in both rooms, that I was moved to. It’s a good location. Parking was really easy. And the furnishings were terrific. I’m really hoping they fix this AC issue because it’s a great place and the staff are really terrific.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was ok, but it wasn't as WOW as we were expecting, the room and balcony were smaller, the bed and pillows not particulary comfortable, and the provisions fairly meagre (ie only x1 of each type of tea bag), I'm sure we could have asked for more but felt that for an 'executive' apartment we shouldn't have to. Overall it was nice but a bit disappointing.

Brand new. Great atmosphere. Rooms were not huge, but had everything we needed. TV could not get free to air stations, which I usually enjoy when travelling, so no news etc, but otherwise everything was great. Heated roof pool and hot tub great, even in the rain. Great location.

We loved staying at Veriu! The hot tub was the best. Feedback from us is more attention to detail for livability inside the rooms please. More storage for luggage such shelves along the wall More hooks, lots of hooks pls to hang clothes and wet towels, a towel rack next to the toilet is just disgusting and impractical. More spare toilet paper and kitchen items such as coffee and sugar The drying rack is impractical and needs a trough otherwise amazing but the things mentioned above made it difficult day time day for us, that use the kitchen it was a challenge to work in

Amazing property in an amazing neighborhood. The rooms are perfect with some thoughtful amenities like open air patio, espresso machine, and perfect shower. The rooftop with the heated lap pool and great view of Collingwood, and hot top was an extra added bonus.

I can't recommend highly enough. It was exactly what I wanted. Comfortable accommodation in a convenient area with all the amenities and friendly/helpful staff. My only issue was that I had limited phone reception in my room. I worked out if I opened the window on the balcony I got a couple of bars. Will definitely book again.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful . I loved the room , the shower and the bed . The kitchen was cute . Loved the security of only being allowed to get on the elevator with your room key . It’s a great location for bars and very walkable . I left a day early because of the WiFi. Apparently if you have an Apple phone you have to force the pop up screen . I primarily work online so I couldn’t be without WiFi . I called down to the front desk and they said they would send someone up . No one came . So I just didn’t finish my stay . Didn’t ask for a refund because I enjoyed my stay but a little more could have been done to help me .
