Ok so this is definitely not a five star or a four star hotel it’s is clean but by day 5 of my holiday l had a huge cockroach swimming in my toilet. The hotel is very dated and needs a complete refurbishment. I loved the fact the national park is on your doorstep and the beach is a stones throw away. I want to say a huge thank you to the general staff waiters cleaners waitresses they are amazing polite and courteous and can’t do enough for you. Management however needs a total overhaul retraining and should remember people pay good money to stay here! So if l tell you that lm smelling like something died in my room, don’t doubt me!

The hotel is really really good, excellent breakfasts, neat sand beach with an elevator, sauna! Perfect -- if the resort is all you need, but somewhat far from either Valletta or Mdina.

Great location to get around Malta and Gozo if you have a car. Parking relatively easy everywhere. The hotel has good restaurant selection and a brilliant Mokka bar where you can also order food

It was a bit far from other restaurants and bars. Buses available but not very regular. Didn’t think much of the Indian meal we had from in house Indian restaurant. Probably a good choice if you want to spend most of your holiday in the hotel complex. Not over developed like so much of the island though.

On arrival most impressive. Looks 5* from the get go. The front of house service excellent! Beyond this area not so impressive a bit dated some areas were dirty. Around the pool the sun lounges had a lot of bird mess. View spectacular so beautiful! Not Gluten free friendly except in Flavours the breakfast area where the choice is much better. There is a 'deli' shop who sells more. The staff work very hard in the breakfast area to please. We felt that this hotel is set up more for families with children, with plenty for them to do. Prices on the whole are reasonable depending where you spend your money. At best we would say this is a 3* & not 5* comparing it with England of course. We do travel a great deal being retired around the country & stay in the Radisson Hotels the best so far is the East Midlands Airport which is exceptional.

On arrival from the airport - we were greeted like family - rather than just another visitor...Check-in process (late pm) was immediate and hassle free...we declined to pay the EUR500.00 deposit for any room charges! We were escorted to our room and assisted with the room familiarisation "tour" - which assisted us greatly. Room was spacious, spotless and well decorated with ample room & facilities; with a wonderful balcony (9th floor) - with a panoramic view facing the countryside. Daily breakfast was well organised, plenty of food/drinks choice and one of the best we've experienced ever and anywhere in the world. Pools were busy but not overbearing...we chose the adults only section which was strictly observed - plenty of umbrellas for use along with seating/sunbeds. Hotel had well-stocked mini-mart with helpful staff and located close by to the pools and general meeting areas. Great selection of restaurants, lounges & bars - and moderately priced too. Nearby bus station made travelling to Valletta, Sliema and other areas a piece of cake - despite the bus schedule being rather infrequent! Only there for 5 nights due to a hectic family schedule back home - but would definitely return for a longer stay and stop/flop holiday. Well done to all at the Rad Blu.
