I reserved a room with 2 queen beds for my son and I. When we arrived the employee at the desk said we were upgraded to a Jr suite with a king bed with a pull out couch. When i said my six ft three son has to sleep on the sleeper couch she rudely said there is nothing she could do. We were then given a bag of linens to make his bed. When we went online it showed they had queen rooms available.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! I was there with my family and was just happy to have a pool for them. When I walked in I was pleasantly shocked to see it looked like a cruise ship! Our room had two doors; one to hallway and one to the lobby area. The lobby had a glass ceiling and our room overlooked the pool. I do wish the pool was warmer and perhaps a hot tub would be nice! But overall we very happy and will Definitely stay at this hotel if we are ever back in the area.

Room was dirty when checked in. Someone left dental supplies used and floss in the bathroom dirty. Had to move rooms. We didn’t have our room cleaned - someone showed up at 4:30 (we left the room at 8am and no sign up) and we needed to get ready for a wedding. So no clean room

My family had a horrible stay at the Marriott Melville. The room was damp, no fan in bathroom. There were no windows to the outside, only sliding glass doors to a common walkway. Lighting was insufficient in the room. The carpeting was dark and dirty. Considering this was one of the higher priced hotels in the area, it was inexcusable.
