"Our Family - Son, Daughter-in-Law, Grandson, Grandma, Grandpa came from Pennsylvania to visit our son and his fiance that live in Lyle. The house is less than a 5 minute walk from them and is absolutely awesome! There was plenty of room, it was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views are amazing! We would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit."

"Loved the views, they were truly amazing. The couch and the master bed were comfortable. Loved that we had access to back-up supplies as needed, and the washer and dryer. We were grateful for that. Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any. No instructions on how to use the speakers when we wanted to watch a movie. We wondered when a deep clean had been last performed and there were several examples of deferred maintenance. For example: The yard (although it is fall) was a bit of a mess, the rugs & carpets upstairs are stained, the queen bed is rickety and any time you move, the bed wobbles and creaks which makes it tricky to be rested. We wanted to take a bath in the amazing tub, but the drain plug was broken and water just drained when we tried to fill the tub. The kitchen sink and around that is damaged from years of use and has been glued and held together somehow. Not enough silverware for a full group. It would be nice to have a large enough cooking sheet for pizza. The interior could really use a fresh coat of paint, just feels worn inside. Not updated since the 90s it seems that part is fine. We were happy to stay, we wondered if we should share the items that need to be remedied. Thank you! "

"My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"What a great spot for the end of our 2 week Trip down the Oregon Coast Crater Lake and the Columbia River George. What a beautiful State! My wife and I spent 3 nights here and could not of been happier! From checkin to checkout our host was super in communicating to us everything we needed and more! The view is amazing! The location the little town of Mosier so easy to get to. Local wineries 5 minutes away! 10 minutes from Hood River. The Condo is spotless. Everything we needed was supplied. They even had eggs muffin mix, pancake mix syrup coffee creamer OJ and both French Press and Nespreso for coffee. Washer and Dryer great bed and the best showerhead I have ever experienced! I am going to look for that type shower head for sure! Everything clearly marked. Nice Binder with excursion ideas and restaurant picks. We will definitely be back. The best VRBO I have ever experienced. Thank you!!"

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."
