The hotel may be a little out of the way, but out of the way in this town is never more than a five or ten minute drive from anything. The facility is very modern and extremely spotless. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff was super, super friendly too... Free coffee and tea in the lobby... I grabbed one heading out the door each morning... A really nice midrange cost choice for Sydney!!

Our stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Sydney Nova Scotia, began with a friendly and very informative checkin, then the comfort of the beds, the size of the rooms, the ample seating throughout plus the convenience of the restaurant via the pedway was so impressive that I am determined to seek out another for next holiday if its anything like the one we stayed in. The manager and his staff are to be recognized for their attention to customer service, personally calling me to ensure a problem (of my own doing) was resolved and taken care of. This has certainly solidified our repeat business and continued favourable recommendation to this facility and those who run it. Well Done!

Check was very easy and the person on the desk was very friendly (as were all staff) and helpful. When I had an issue with the TV, I called the front desk and someone was there within a few minutes. The complimentary breakfast is amazing with so many choices that were healthy and filling The only down side, on the 3rd day, one of the garbage cans, and garbage beside the can, was not removed by housekeeping. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The hotel worked out fine for me, but was certainly not walk-able for the area that I was interested in. I think somewhere closer to town would have been better for me, but the hotel itself was great. It was clean, comfortable and quiet which are the most important to me. With a vehicle and desire to explore and not mind driving around the area, I would consider staying here again. It would be super convenient for those attending a convention or something like that.

Nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. However, ask for a room not on the second floor. It was very loud all through the night because of the pedway leading to the neighbouring convention centre.

Loud hotel when Gus let their door slams. The reverberations can be felt through multiple rooms and floors. If you’re on the floor with many children, it can be quite problematic. Unfortunate because aesthetically the hotels very nice extremely loud loud hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
