"We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this property. We were a large group of adults, children, and 2 dogs. The space was large with many bedrooms to accommodate us all. The large living room and kitchen could also fit us all as a group. The place was very clean.The host was very communicative, and they had someone local who helped us with a couple of issues. They brought a high chair over on request for the infants.A few things we wish we had known before arriving:- Beds are very soft overall- Bunk beds are small for adults but are good for children- We found that VRBO’s description of the bedrooms is a little confusing. There are 7 sleeping spaces and 7 beds. The listing says that one room has a king bed/futon, but that’s only one bed that is a pull out couch.- There is a regular coffee machine and a Nespresso machine (with the larger pods). No coffee grinder, so bring your own.- If you rent the whole house, there is a suite downstairs that has a second small living room and kitchen space. Overall there are several fridges, which is amazing for a group!We enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again."

"The house was stunning as was the location. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The only thing missing, in our opinion, was a bigger Tv and an extra bedroom that was shown on the site. We made it work and everyone had a wonderful time! Thank you for letting us stay!"

"Everything was very comfortable, like home! Kitchen was fully equipped, which we really appreciated. Beds were comfortable, deck, yard and lake front was fabulous! Appreciated the desk area as one of us needed to work, wifi worked solidly, and loved the big table to play boardgames and eat together. Lovely lake area, great location."

"Beautiful location. Nice interior set up, very large living area and a very well supplied kitchen, nice fireplace but had to supply our own firewood. Large deck facing the lake. The two bedrooms with bunks are a bit smaller. Lots of stairs outside. We would certainly return for another stay!"

"We had a lovely time at the lake. Less than an hour from the city (Victoria) and felt a million miles away. So quiet and peaceful. We swam and paddled every day. The accommodation was excellent and kitchen/BBQ very well-equipped. I thought there was a hot tub and could have used one on some of those cool days (swimming in 18 degree weather). We couldn’t figure out how to make the outdoor shower not scalding hot. Those are my only complaints and I’m sure I could have messaged the host but I was feeling lazy and needed time away from my device. Awesome place all around! "
