"The location was spectacular. As pictured, the apartment is just steps from the water. Listening to the waves crash outside our bedroom window allowed me to have the best sleep I've had in ages. There's a bench located just off the apartment property. People come there to sit and view the spectacular sunsets. I will say the sunset did not disappoint, they were amazing. It's located in a quaint little marina town. Good food and friendly people. As wonderful as the view, and the little town were, the best part of our stay were the wonderful host and her family. They welcomed us, and treated us as if we were family. They live in an apartment two floors up, and my wife spent more time up visiting them, than she did downstairs. As wonderful as our stay was in Sicily, with the great food, wine, people, sights, and beaches, Patrizia and her family is what we will miss the most. "

"2 weeks spent in a fabulous villa with great pool in a peaceful rural location- just what we needed. Shops, restaurants, beaches all near by to visit and explore. Nino looked after us and showed us around the Villa and introduced us to some traditional local cuisine. "Six stars accommodation! We had a great vacation. The house is very luxurious and accurately refined in all the rooms with autenthic Sicilan colors and materials (Sicily in my imaginary was just like the colours of this house, the ceramic tiles, the stone walls). In short, the best holiday homes we have ever reserved. The bedrooms are very spacious and bright, the kitchen well equipped, the bathrooms clean, new, elegant. The pool area is fantastic and there is a stunning view of the sea. We had delicious BBQ there! (Sicilian fish is highly recommended). We everyday enjoyed our evening cocktail under the olive trees, facing the Mediterranean and the vegetable garden that is at disposal of the guests. We picked-up tomatoes, aubergines, zuchine and lettuche. The nearest town is Menfi at 2 kms. There are good fisheries, supermarkets, and very very good ice-creams and granite (first time tasted it, thumb-up). The sea is about 5 kms away in Portopalo, and as stated on the listing is a very clean water (Blue Flag Beach since over than 20 years). A big thank you to the kind Betty and Enzo who supported all our needs. Definitely, will come back (with my sister’s family who unfortunately had to cancel his journey with us this year).
