This holiday park is nestled amidst three stunning natural areas: the Mantingerzand, known for its shifting sands and grazing Scottish Highland cows; the Geeserstroomgebied, a unique and picturesque landscape; and the juniper-filled Mantingerzand. The park gets its name from a Bronze Age relic, the "Bronze Bucket," discovered in Meppen’s Es fields, showcasing the region’s historical allure. Adjacent to the charming village of Meppen, known for its traditional thatched-roof farms and majestic oak trees, this location offers tranquility and lush greenery.

The holiday park features beautiful detached Finnish bungalows at the forest's edge. In warm weather, the pool’s sliding glass doors open onto a sunny lawn, perfect for relaxation. During winter, the bungalows provide a cozy retreat for families and friends, and if it snows, cross-country skiing through the scenic Mepperdennen forest is a memorable experience.
The indoor pool and baby pool are available from late April to the end of September, ensuring plenty of opportunities to unwind. Whether you’re looking for an active holiday or a serene getaway, this park offers something for everyone!


The bungalow offers a tranquil and private setting, while still being conveniently close to the park's amenities. Parking is available directly at the bungalow.
Inside, the bungalow features a spacious living room with a cozy wood stove, a dining area, a bar, and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a complete inventory and includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator (without freezer compartment), coffee maker, and kettle.
There are three bedrooms: two large bedrooms, each furnished with a double box spring bed (new in 2022!) measuring 160 x 200 cm, a wardrobe, and a sink, and a third bedroom with a 3-person bunk bed. The bunk bed includes a lower double bed (140 x 200 cm) and an upper single bed (90 x 200 cm).
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a shower (within the bathtub), and a sink. A separate toilet with an additional sink is also available.
For entertainment and connectivity, the bungalow offers Wi-Fi, a radio/CD player, and a TV with CAI. Outdoors, there is a south-facing veranda and a spacious garden complete with garden furniture for your relaxation.
This 7-person bungalow is both pet-free and smoke-free, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay!


Surrounded by natural beauty, this area offers a wealth of activities and relaxation. The large indoor pool (10 x 20 meters) is available for guests to enjoy from April to September, with its soothing 28°C water providing the perfect environment for unwinding. Children will especially love the variety of play equipment in the pool area, offering endless fun.
Adjacent to the pool, you’ll find a wellness area with a sauna, plunge pool, and solarium, where you can relax in peace and privacy. Whether for a family retreat, a group gathering, or a quiet personal escape, this space is available year-round, with direct access to the pool from the sauna.
During the May, Ascension, and Pentecost holidays, as well as peak season, a recreation team organizes a variety of activities for all ages. Highlights include lantern parades, campfires, arts and crafts for children, fun-filled programs, sports events for adults, kids' disco, exciting ghost tours, and more, ensuring entertainment for the whole family.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the surrounding area offers numerous opportunities. Horseback riders can explore the nearby riding school, complete with indoor and outdoor arenas, or enjoy a ride along the Mantingerzand nature reserve. Wander through forests, megalithic sites, and moorlands, or visit the ancient villages of Meppen and Gees, where sculptures, museums, and cozy restaurants await. Cycling enthusiasts will also appreciate the scenic paths that wind through this stunning landscape.
For those seeking more adventure, attractions such as the Emmen Zoo, the open-air museum in Schoonoord, the Assen traffic park, and the Orvelte museum are just a short distance away. The nearby cities of Assen and Emmen provide great shopping opportunities and don’t miss a visit to the Provincial Museum, where you can view the famous original bronze bucket. In Drenthe, every day is filled with possibilities for discovery and enjoyment!

Renters under the age of 21 will not be admitted to the park.Employees are not allowed in the park.Bed linen can be ordered.
