Everything is good: breakfast, staff, tour services, room condition. Too bad there is no water in the room one night, but it was repaired in the morning. 6-7 minutes walk to the tourist street and about 15 minutes walk to downtown. Tour guide of Eco Tour is excellent and very friendly.

I loved the unique feeling of being in a house and not a hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the sink in the bathroom leaked and the floor would sometimes be wet. Other then that we loved it.

This hotel has all the charm of an older building in Merida, but it also has all the modern amenities that make travel more comfortable.

A pleasant boutique hotel.
Posted Feb. 29, 2024 on HotelsHotel del Peregrino is a comfortable and nicely decorated boutique hotel convenient to Merida center and also Avenida Montejo. If heading into the center on foot, I recommend NOT walking down Calle 56, it is trafficky and not so pleasant as 58, 60 (the best though currently with some renovation, but still walkable) or 62. Many of the rooms are up stairs, so if you are not very mobile, ask for a room on the ground floor. Breakfast is a cold buffet (with tea/coffee/toast)-- good variety. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
