It was an impromptu stay but im happy with the 1 night stay.. they are doing a lot of upgrades going on but thats a good thing. It was easy & convenient location, staff was great, very pleasant

To be fair, this Comfort Inn is undergoing remodeling. On the other hand, there'sno excuse for two different TV systems--with instructions for just one and not the correct set for our room. Heating and cooling system were sub-optimal. Stairways away from the main hallway were filthy. Breakfast bar did not have healthy choices. We won't return.

We had a last-minute hospital emergency ending with a funeral, we spent 4 nights, 2 in another different hotel around the same area, our last two nights in Bellingham we chose Comfort Inn and we didn't regret the change, definitely helped to see the presence of a security male or police officer when we checked in. The room was very clean, the only reason I give it a 4 star is because of the TV control remote, I had to call the front desk to be able to watch something on TV. We definitely going back and choosing Comfort Inn for our stay in Bellingham.

It was under construction with part of things done in each area - meaning the rest was not done. For example, a section of the wall by the window was peeling off in one of our rooms and the doors weren’t painted, but parts of the bathroom had been redone and looked decent. The lobby was redone so pictures looked nice and it appeared better from the start…until you got to the hall and rooms. Our room didn’t have a phone so when the person above us was doing a dance party from 11pm -12:30am we had to go down to the front desk to complain but were unable to follow up without going down in person when the noise continued. The gym and pool were closed. There was free breakfast so that would be the one decent quality of the hotel stay.

The hotel was very dated but is being upgraded. There was paint all over the bath floor, the lamp by side of bed did not work but the bed was good and it was clean. We were very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were shut down. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok.

The staff at this hotel are great. When we returned to the hotel for the night, we told the front desk staff that our A/C wasn't working and she came right up with us to our room and sorted it out for us. The breakfast was awesome. The hotel has been under renovations for a long time.The pool was unavailable. They're working on it, but it's taking a very long time. If you're looking for somewhere to sleep, this hotel is great. If you want a nice hotel experience, this hotel isn't there yet.

Great hotel! Clean, great breakfast. The hotel reception let us bring our bikes inside overnight as we were worried about leaving them locked on our car. We will definitely return again the next time we’re in Bellingham.

YUCK, no, just no don't do it.
Wow, firstly I would like to say that the staff were amazing. However this place is poorly managed, this place is nothing like the pictures. Extremely overpriced, it is barely motel 6 standards at twice the price. Pet fee is 40$ and that is price gouging. There are signs that look like they have been up for years that say "Sorry we are renovating" Obviously that isn't true because the place still looked like it was in the 60's. There is a staircase that REEK'D of cat/dog/human piss. Our TV didn't work (wouldn't even turn on) The breakfast is at least more than just bread and yogurt. This place is just not worth the price. It would be fine if the price reflected what you were getting but that wasn't the case at all.

Decent property to get a good nights rest. Bed was comfortable and clean and room was roomy. First thing I noticed was dead plants that could be easily removed and dry dead grass around the building. Property is not worried about curb appeal. Breakfast was simple and many good choices. What we didn't like was the bathroom. You had to squeezy between the toilet to enter the shower. Crazy ill planned design of a shower upgrade. The mirror was fancy lit but not near enough light to apply makeup. Simple clean property- zero fancy.
