Room was very small (bed and 2-3 ft around the bed) and basic (with bathroom, TV and a desk), which was fine for my needs. Water filter on every floor. I heard people having sex most nights. It didn't bother me but may bother some people. # Positive: Great location in Roma norte, close to Niños héroes subway station and to Chapultepec park (easy to go to Coyoacan, Centro historico and Central del norte). Felt safe to walk around at night. # Negative: The room was very hot even when it was cold outside, I would say about 20 F hotter. There was a fan but it was powerful and loud. The hotel is a little noisy but I was able to sleep fine.

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly however rooms and beds are really small. I was in a queen size bed room and then I was moved to a king size bed. Both were the same size, no difference.

For years I stayed at Posada Viena; until it was bought out by SoyLocal; which sucks. But like life, one loss is another gain — im glad I encountered Monarca.

My stay is great so far. I was able to do an early check-in for 300MXN, which seemed fair. What I love most is that each floor has a drinking water dispenser. The superior room's price and space is affordable. Located in the heart of Roma Norte, so it's safe all day and night.

Great welcoming staff, hotel is in a very good location in Roma Norte near to a lot of good food spots, and a few steps from a famous Churreria. Room was clean, however the bathroom was very tiny and water would come cold in the middle of a shower.

We stayed for 6 days at Hotel Monarca on our first trip to CDMX. We were really happy with the location is close to everything if you are okay with walking. Is near lots of shopping and restaurants. The facility was clean and staff was friendly. Room was clean and the right size not to much just perfect.

Monarch is the best value in Roma Norte. Period. Located next to the Sheraton, on the main Alvaro Obregon Blvd, the hotel is in the heart of Roma, walkable to all the iconic bars (Maximo, gin gin, 99) and top restaurants (cuina, rosetta, bou). My room was spacious, clean, and outfitted with usb ports/led and a small but tidy bathroom. It is going to be noisy owing to the main street location. And while there’s a fan there’s no AC, which is fine considering all year mild climate. For a 1000 mxp nothing comes close to it in terms of value.

Todo muy bien, que tengan servicio a cuarto y hielo gratuito es genial. Los únicos puntos que no nos gustaron es que la pantalla hacia un ruido de estática algo molesto en todo los canales y que la base de la cama no estaba fija, por lo que se movía cada vez que nos recargabamos en la cabecera.
