The airline cancelled my flight so i couldn’t fly and you guys don’t want to refund my reservation even though it wasn’t my fault: it was a part of a package!. Terrible customer service

We arrived early at 11 am, we asked for early check in, it was not available, so we went to get lunch and arrived back at the hotel at 2:45 pm the room still not ready, 3 pm comes only one room is ready and will deliver the keys to the first room when the room is ready, 5 pm no one deliver the keys, went to the front the key was there, no apologies just handed me the keys. Just bad service and old hotel, i would never stay here again

The hotel is definitely a historical landmark in itself. You can get a glimpse of an era gone by. The place has seen better days but now the ravages of time can be seen. It was our first day in the country so a little bit of new country daze might also have colored my judgment. The rooms are large but not sound proof, the shower had good water pressure but splashed around the bathroom. The staff was couteous, the neighborhood felt safe to walk at night to us. There are enough places to visit at walking distance and great numbers of good restaurants to choose from.

This place is so outdated and really dirty. The carpets were very dirty, it smelled bad, the bathroom toilet and tub leaked water everywhere. I asked them to switch the room and the second room the provided was also as horrible and dirty as the first. I don’t understand how this hotel has so many ratings, it is SO BAD! I travel a lot and this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The hotel was impressive, a historical establishment with a rich history. The staff exhibited exceptional professionalism and provided outstanding service during my entire stay. The telephone bar was a particularly enjoyable venue for a light meal and a beverage. The bartenders and staff there were excellent, and the adjacent restaurant, Buenos Díaz, offered both convenience and delicious cuisine. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again in the future.
