I would not stay again. I would not recommend unless you are young on a very tight budget. The entrance is in a pedestrian-only alley. The elevator was out of service. It has been that way for some time, and there is no plan to repair it. That's a deal breaker for me. Steep stairs, 7 or 8 stories. The mattresses are old, in need of replacement. The pillows are this wierd thin cheap foam material, 2 inches. There were some crawling bugs, maybe beetles or something. But staff were helpful, and the location is super.

The property was really close to el zocalo ,mexico city tourist areas, and close to alot of food options. I was able to locate it based on discription on reviews about sketchy alley, it did seem scary and unsafe. There was an uncovered hole in our room that made us wonder what it was, room waĺls thin we could hear everything, and it 100 pesos deposit for remote control to watch TV which wasnt mentioned on the expedia page. But we figured out you can just turn it on by hand. Bed was hard, shower water splatters everywhere , no ac. Overall good for us for one night stay, and during cold weather.

Las instalaciones y los cuartos limpios pero las camas estan duras y las almohadas muy delgadas. Oh y poner mosqueteros porque los cuartos no tienen aire acondicionado se ocupa abrir las ventanas pero se meten los mosquitos

A nosotros no nos importa mucho el ruido, pero obviamente estás en medio de la ciudad, así que si te molesta el ruido, ahí no es. El callejón se ve sospechoso, pero todo bien. Recomendaría evitar salir muy noche. La ubicación es muy buena ya que caminas unos minutos y ya estás en el zócalo. Si te mueves en metro, como a una cuadra detrás del hotel está Allende. Hay un lugar de tacos que estaba rico justo a la vuelta de la esquina. Si te gustan las compras, ahi en la esquina está una tiendita de zapatos, todo chido. En general, por precio y ubicación es perfecto. Volvería a reservar 👍

Very old building… rooms are NOT air conditioned nor does it have internet. The elevator was Not working and felt that it should have been stated by property or by Expedia. Location was great but in the middle of historical and clubs music until 5am.

Amazing location! And very friendly staff. It was getting hot so it wasn’t ideal that they didn’t have AC (we did see them install new ACs in some rooms when we were checking out so check with them). Good thing is that the place is quiet and not full when we were there so we were able to open our door when we’re up to let the cool air in. Beds are very firm. I’d stay here again tho if just for the location.

Una de las mejores alternativas para estadías largas. Habitación espaciosa. Siempre ordenado y en pleno centro a metros del Zócalo. Nada que me desagrade de este lugar. Agregaría secador de pelo.

The location is good for exploring the Zocalo. The beds were very hard and the pillows horrible. Our room had a corner of the TV platform that was a hazard. I hit my head on it. The elevator only worked part of the time. There was only one small bottle of water for two people provided. Room cleaners did a good job.

I like that it was close to zócalo and main avenues. They have a storage room so you can leave your stuff after you checkout from the hotel. I didn’t like that it was noisy at night, you have to leave your key every time you go out. Beds are really hard, bed sheet's have hairs on them, they don’t change them often. Other than that it’s okay to spend the night if you are trying to save some money. Some of the employees are mean.

The bed was very unconfortable, way too hard and the room we got had no windows! the building overall was really dark... on the other hand location was really good but felt a little unsafe because of the access on the alley. Also the staff was really helpfull.
