Hotel staff was unfriendly and rude. Check-in was listed as 4pm but could not check-in until 5pm. Hotel was over booked. Hotel bar/food and small food shop did not accept cash. Checked state law and it is illegal to refuse cash in Miami-Dade County. If the state of the room is what they consider clean, I would hate to see what dirty looks like. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything in the hallways and rooms around you.

Property needs an Upgrade ASAP! TVs are very Old Generation showers presión very light. A guy from the Valet Parking very rude. Almost traten my husband, Just because he told him “We apologized for the inconvenience” because a guy who was picking us up from the hotel park on the wrong side. My husband told him “is to early in the morning to be in this bad attitude” his replay back was “ Oh no, you haven’t seen me being Bad Yet” like WTH! Only good thing from here the Puerto Rican Girl From the front desk she was very nice. For a Ft with Hilton very disappointed. Not coming Back ! At all.

They offer a free shuttle from Miami airport. My suggestion is you book an Uber. It was the worst service I’ve ever had in all my years of travels. Myself and other guests waited for 2 1/2 hours before the shuttle showed up And the Doubletree did nothing to comp us.

Location was great being near the airport and not very far from the Miami Cruise Ship Port. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Rooms were OK. However, there needs to be more communication between Expedia and the hotel in terms of the benefits the guest will enjoy. Having made plans to accommodate five persons, we were almost told that only two could get breakfast.
