Avoid this place.
Honestly I’ve never had a worse experience at hotel in 35 years of traveling. This is the first time the user reviews I feel are absolutely misleading and probably fake. The room was filthy. People arguing outside. Heavy marijuanna odor. Simply unacceptable especially traveling with kids. Make sure to pre pay so you can actually have this site / app fight for your refund. Truly a nightmare scenario on my daughters birthday no less avoid at all costs unless that environment is your thing

Great, updated hotel. Cute, courtyard for coffee and morning bagels. Nice selection of bottles of wine in lobby. Rooms facing the street are noisy from car traffic.

The immediate area of the hotel is fine, but a few blocks west is very sketchy. 2 days after I left, I received notice that they put a charge on my card. I called the hotel directly and was informed I committed a deposit violation: either smoking, damages or drinking a bottle of water, and I could speak to a supervisor if I wanted to have this corrected. The phone number I was given for a supervisor was a general number/call center. When I called the front desk to verify the number I was informed the supervisor is very busy and I should just email. Very convenient that the penalty was added 2 days after I left and had no way of addressing the false accusation. Waiting to see if they fix this.

The property was clean and had obviously been updated recently. The day before we were scheduled to leave, we decided to add another night to our stay. I advised the clerk who reserved the additional night. The following day, we decided not to stay the additional night. When I advised the clerk, I was told we would have to pay for the additional night, even though we would not be using it. I was told this was because reservations could not be cancelled. I could accept this if I had been advised before I booked the extra night, but I was not. I don’t consider this good business practice. We did leave and were charged the extra night. Unfortunately this put a black mark on an otherwise great experience.

Room clean and cute property with a backyard where they serve bagels in the morning. Pool did not look clean so I passed. No carpet or box springs, mattress, pillows and bedding passed my neurotic test for signs of bugs. Close to the cruise port which was wonderful.

If value drives your decision, the comparative value was good. A minor note, there's a patio area tucked in the back. Photos online show it bubbling with nighttime activity. Maybe that happens on the weekend. That area was in need of some TLC.

Convenient area. Clean enough. Everything was fine for a low budget hotel. The free parking is nice. Rooms are fairly sound proofed. If there's noise outside, you will hear it, and there could be some past midnight.
