Very large and modern room. Comfortable and clean. The staff were very welcoming and efficient at all times. The $40 nightly valet parking is a bargain considering a car park not too far away from the hotel would have charged $120 for 24 hours. Overall pleasure to stay here and would most definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a great stay. There was a problem with the hotel receiving the reservation but the customer service from the hotel was fantastic as they worked to figure it out.

The staff was very nice and they did give me a credit for the resort fee, but I wouldn't stay here again. We were in a badly placed room - next to elevators, adjoining room (with noisy neighbors), our shower dripped (which doesn't seem like a big deal, but could be heard throughout the room) and outside our windows were all the a/c units. It was just loud. In addition we used the valet service for our car and were told that we need to give a 30 min notice before we would need it again, luckily we called early as it took them almost an hour to get our car. The other issue was it really needed a deep cleaning - our shower had visible mold in the corners, as well as the sink. The good, walkable to a lot of places/restaurants - but for the price tag, I expected better.

This place is average at best. The rooms do not get cleaned until after 4pm which is super inconvenient when your coming from the beach everyday and need to shower and get ready for dinner plans, while also anticipating the (very late) arrival of the cleaning staff. I brought this up to what I presume is the manager and he shrugged me off and told me to ask the reception team about the cleaning schedule. Spoiler alert: the evening receptionist also did not care. He told me that the schedule was 8am-4pm and it was PAST 4PM!!! There was only one receptionist who was lovely and very helpful. Her name was Nicole and she accommodated us to do late check out since we had an evening flight and overall had a polite attitude. The rest of the staff was probably some of the worst I’ve ever seen. The pool is terrible if you’re thinking about staying here because it looks nice in the photos think again. It is small and cold and there is no sun in sight because the buildings around completely block the sun. And it is so noisy at night. They blast music from the crappy restaurant downstairs which would make you think a party is happening but really it is a deserted restaurant and terrible repetitive music playing until they close. Also the sheets had weird stains on them, with lots of different colours to choose from. Going forward, I would spend the extra coin and go somewhere with better staff…and I mean all staff from managers to reception to cleaners.

It was my first time at the Berkeley Shore Hotel, stayed on the 10th floor- lovely view of the beach and Collins Ave, the room itself was beautiful, clean and everything I wanted, and the wind at any time of day was amazing!!! As I entered on my first day I was welcomed warmly by Victor at the front desk, he was extremely helpful and always smiling, ready to assist in any way. Enjoyed the pool and gym, had a problem with the treadmill that was sorted within the hour as management was already aware of the issue- pleasantly surprised by their service. Had breakfast at the hotel, great options Loved that so many places were within walking distance- the beach, Lincoln road and more You won’t regret staying at this hotel, invest in yourself and enjoy. Thanks for a great hospitable stay!
