Go elsewhere for a pleasant stay
Our staff interactions were okay. Nice to have the beach lounge chair access. Good location as it's easy to take the free trolley wherever around Miami Beach. I mainly just needed a bed and room to hold us over until our cruise. Extremely loud construction early in the morning above our 8th floor room. (Lobby is on 4th floor). Once it started, we scrambled to leave because it was so unpleasant. Elevator is not up to code and you must always request the elevator to use it 24/7. However, when calling the lobby, the receptionist might not be there so you're stuck in your room until you can get a hold of them. Took us 10 minutes to leave one time. Room was okay, but clearly painted over all the rusting and failing areas. The door doesn't seal well to the frame so lots of bright light & noise from the hallway enters the room. Beds were subpar to me and not comfortable. I could feel the metal springs and frame. The hassles & downsides might be worth $60-80 per night but I paid about $200 per night.

The hotel was clean & staff were friendly. The elevator was under maintenance so someone always took us up. We were told to call when we needed to come down. No one ever answered the phone so we took the stairs down 8 floors every time. Even the last day when we were leaving I walked down just to have the elevator sent up since we had luggage to bring down. They did give me a small credit back for the inconvenience. If elevator worked the hotel would be a good choice.

First of all the second you check in you’re being told that the elevators are not working so every time you want to use the elevator, you have to call and someone will come get you an elevator for going up or down. The bar outside the pool was not open the whole time we were there. There’s no restaurant service that is open, which was actually described by Expedia that there will be food to purchase. There’s no towels provided outside if you want to use the pool just do yourself a favor and do not book the hotel.

At checkin we weren’t told that the elevator wasn’t fully functional. Only once we walked back down from the eighth floor did someone tell us we would have to call reception to get an elevator back down. We were given wristbands with no explanation. The AC in the room was barely functional, the hot water was tepid, and we spent the night being woken by people carrying on in the hallway and slamming doors, mostly the door to the stairs because of the elevator issue. We checked out and changed to another hotel.

The hotel is dated but efforts to keep it clean are visible. The hallway is reasonably clean. The restaurant and the pool were closed when we were there. We did not need those amenities so it did not matter. CVS and restaurants were within walking distance. The staff were helpful. There were times when no one was in the front desk but that’s just probably because there’s not many of them that weekend. We stayed in a spacious beachfront room with balcony. The view was excellent. The room was clean with everything we needed. When we stayed, the air condition unit was leaking and was quite loud. As long as you’re in the room, it should not be bothersome. We enjoyed our beach access. Thanks!

Location was good, Hotel needs upgrade.
It’s an older hotel that’s in need of an upgrade. Location is what’s keeping it open tbh. Pool was closed by the state due to health code violation (not informed ahead of time or at the time of check-in). Opened back up after a day or two but didn’t want to risk getting in. If you’re looking for just a place to sleep and a good location this is the place. If you’re looking for something fancy spend a little more and go elsewhere.

There was construction going on when I got there - very noisy in the morning, which woke me up multiple times around 8:30-9:00 am. The pool was shut down, the restaurant was shut down, the vending machine ate my money... It was like I was staying there during their maintenance season... not cool! I should have been made aware of this before I booked my hotel.

Great location in Mid Beach
Beautiful locations with private beach access!! It was exactly as described and everyine was very friendly and helpful. Streetside parking where you can find it or lot parking across the street for about the same price. Convenient location with several tour stops right outside.
