Comfortable enough for a night. We’d originally requested this hotel and got put in hotel Wilga next door (their sister hotel). We requested a double room and got a twin, and the staff didn’t answer either of my two emails sent inquiring about booking in an airport shuttle for the morning after or whether we had to do anything for a very late arrival (both were easily done once we arrived). Front desk staff did speak English. Value-for-money wasn’t great compared to other places in Poland, but would stay again as it was very convenient to the airport.

The room we book was a single room for two people , the staff told us that the room we booked is a single room for one person, after consulting the hotel manager we had to pay 59 polish zloty more for the room then the actual 200 Pln. price for a double room .The only reason we booked the hotel is convenient location close to the Katowice Airport .

Good location--close to the airport. Prompt shuttle service. Comfortable bed and nice updated bathroom. The carpet needs to be changed--it's stained and dirty. The rollers/sham pillows had stains, the towels were worn out and had holes in them (but they were quite water absorbent and soft ). Good breakfast with lots of choices. Great staff.

Great hotel for an early flight
We choose this hotel because it was close to the airport and our flight was very early. They provided us with a shuttle to the airport at no charge at 4:30 in the morning. The restaurant was delightful. The food was great and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Not for a vacation
The room was tiny and crammed. Filled with old furniture. The lampshades were yellowed and musty. Plus the room was carpeted (eww). The restaurant looked in good shape but we didn't eat there. Hotel was fine for an overnight airport need but def not for a vacation. The overnight staff was rude, but the morning staff was very nice. One airport transfer provided, you pay for the second one.

This hotel is less than 5 min from Katowice airport and makes an ideal stop over for early morning or late night flights. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a regular transfer service to and from the airport. The hotel itself is a little dated but the bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Breakfast is a little limited but still very edible and enjoyable. Overall, this hotel offers superb value for money and I will happily stay here again.

Quick Stay at Iskra KTW
An 0400 arrival meant we were half asleep when we arrived. The room was kept available. As per above, no AC remote meant for an uncomfortable night under hot and humid conditions.

The most convenient hotel near Katowice airport
All great , room was nice and clean and breakfast was amazing however Fitness/gym was a let down as the first receptionist said its open when I checked in and the second one said its closed!

Very friendly staff
Friendly staff and very helpful. Shuttle service included, just called them and they came to pick me up from Katowice airport and the next day they drop me off. I have to leave early in the morning before breakfast starts, so they offer me "pack breakfast" to take it away.

Good place for an early flight
This hotel was a good place for an early flight out of the Katowice airport. With two shuttles to the airport each hour it was very convenient for us to get to the airport at 4:15 am. They packed a bagged breakfast for us consisting of a sandwich, snack bar and apple. The hotel is only close to a sister hotel so there is not much else to do nearby. There are large pine trees surrounding the hotel so it feels like you are in a forest. The grounds were well kept and there were tables between the Iskra Pension and hotel which was a nice place to enjoy a beverage. Although close to the airport we heard almost no airport noise. This is important since there is no air conditioning so we had to have the windows open. The rooms were comfortable but not large. The carpet did not seem clean but this might have been in part the tan color. The bathroom was very nice with a large shower and excellent water pressure. The restaurant had a limited menu but the food was good. The sister hotel had a more comprehensive menu.
