Very charming holiday villa/finca. Located 2 minutes drive from the white and lively village of Mijas. 7km from the coast. Stunning sea views and terraces all around the garden of 6.600 m2. 100% privacy and child friendly: private road; no traffic at all! The house is a reformed farmhouse with loads of character. There is a great pool area, with a lot of shady areas.
The finca contains 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is unsuitable for invalid persons. Payment by PayPal is possible,

From the moment we booked we knew we'd made the right choice. Everything was so easy and Karin was an absolute superstar coming out to greet us and show us around etc she really made us feel welcome. The property itself is beautiful and huge!!! I didn't actually make it to every nook myself unfortunately but thats because i was too busy just stopping and taking everything in. Also as a horsey family and i myself working with horses imagine our surprise to discover there are horses on the property too and the owner is lovely as is his dog Bobo if youre lucky enough to meet him too. I met the groundsman too one morning and he's such a lovely man and he picked us the yummiest grapes (i never did get to thank him unfortunately). The property really is beautiful as are the views. It's a little over 6 euros with mijas taxis up to the pueblo but i always gave 10 and joked it was danger money due to the driveway which normally got a chuckle. I can't recommend this property enough and as an added bonus you'll come away with buns of steel they weren't joking about those steps!!!!

We had the most wonderful holiday! The villa is stunning and has everything you need. It was immaculately clean and the check in/check out process with Karin was really easy. Great communication all round. We stayed with two children (aged 7 and 9) and felt comfortable with the steps around the villa and down to the pool - though it might be harder with younger children. The only thing of note is the location at the bottom of the steep hill - it means the villa is really private and in a stunning setting, but getting into Mijas Pueblo would be challenging for some. We walked up twice on an evening and even at 7:30pm it was an extremely hot walk - though the kids managed it easier than we did! It is manageable if you’re fairly fit - and actually we could walk into the centre of Mijas Pueblo in around 30 minutes, even when taken slowly. But it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable first half of the walk in the heat. We eventually managed to work out how to get Mijas Taxis to pick us up with a little broken Spanish, and they were fab. We also got a taxi home every night (as I wouldn’t fancy walking down it in the dark with the kids). Half of the drivers were fine about the road, but half of them commented on it being a tricky drive and not on their usual access routes. However, I wouldn’t let it put you off booking, as the villa itself is perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate booking again - now we know how to navigate the taxis - and all four of us agreed it was the best we’d stayed in.

Incredible finca. Stunning views of the surrounding area. Well equipped property. Cleanliness great for such a large area. Hosts and housekeeper Karin were easy to communicate with and attentive to any queries. Location is situated down several steep hills which leads onto a gravel track so dependent on your fitness, do be mindful of hiring a robust car, taxi, etc. Swimming pool was lovely and the whole garden surrounding the villa was pure heaven!

Beautiful Isolated Holiday Villa

This is a stunning large villa which is extremely private. It is very well equipped with everything provided, from air conditioning through to numerous glasses and plates, pots, pans, towels etc etc. Everything was very clean and small things thought of, such as providing gin and tonic for our enjoyment! The pool area is amazing, and also beautiful. The pool is large, the sun loungers are comfortable, there are lots of shaded areas as well as a parasol. The communication with the owner and then with Karin, the house keeper, was second to none. Karin was very very helpful and replied to queries quickly throughout the week. The only reason we didn’t give this 5 stars is that there are several extremely steep hills which the house is located at the bottom of. They are not all tarmaced and are narrow and windy. It is only half a km up to the main road, and we’re a fit family, but in 30+ degree sunshine, it was not enjoyable to climb! Plus the local taxi firm didn’t find the house until we emailed them a google maps image of where it is (we didn’t hire a car). Overall, we had a fabulous week stay. We’ve stayed in Mijas Pueblo before and love the place, we’d recommend a visit to anyone.

lovely property for a chill out holiday

lovely property, perfect for a relaxing holiday. lots of steps to get around but well worth the effort! everything was clean and tidy and the pool was brilliant (just needs a bit of tlc). if you hire a car, make sure you get one that has a bit of welly to get up and down the steep track. the listing states it has an oven in the kitchen - it doesn’t have one but has a combination microwave - if it does have an oven we couldn’t find it! would definitely come again.

Finca break

A lovely rustic finca in a great location. The pool and seating areas are first class. The steps and hill may be a problem for some but not us, and we are in our 60's!

Gorgeous but Hilly!!

Great comms from Hans and Karin from start to finish - very friendly but professional. Karin met us in Mijas and we followed her to the villa, which was helpful. I was designated driver but could not drive the last quarter mile to the villa. The road is so steep and not fully made up. There is a road up to the front door of the house but I haven't seen a steeper road in the UK, and it is only partially concrete. The villa itself is lovely - a real home from home, nicely decorated with everything you need. Great air con in most rooms (our bedroom didn't work), really comfortable beds, tons of crockery, pans and utensils. Fabulous. The best views from the villa as well - you can see for miles!! There are brand new sunbeds round the pool, but no cushions - slightly uncomfortable when lying there all day like us! And no parasols, which in the severe heat was tough. The shade from the trees just wasn't enough, but the villa is nice and cool. We tried to walk into town a few times, but even at 7pm, the heat and the sheer steepness of the road made it virtually impossible. I know the taxis will come, but we weren't confident ringing them and being clear where to come. Overall, although there were pros and cons, we loved the place and loved our stay. Just go in knowing it's down a VERY steep slope. It's also 55 steps from the pool to the villa.

Wonderful place to stay. A real treat.

This place really is as good as the photographs show. In fact, they do not really show just how many viewpoints there are on the property. Check in was very clear and we were met by the fabulous property manager Karin (we got lost and she was very patient). Place was immaculate. There is everything you need for a week or more self catering. The wifi is very good which was great for my kids! I would not say this property is suitable for those with mobility issues. The steps everywhere would not be for everyone I would say. In addition, the road out of property into the village is steep (again, just for those with mobility issues) but the local taxi firm is inexpensive and very reliable. We had some wonderful meals in the village. Thank you to Hans and Karin for an excellent stay. We made lots of happy family memories in the pool ha!

Beautiful villa in a brilliant location

This villa is an absolute delight which I can highly recommend. First of all I cannot fault the communication from Hans leading up to our holiday and Karin, who is the house keeper was brilliant so nice and helpful! The Villa itself is a dream, the pool is massive, there are multiple places to sit during the day and look out at the stunning views and everything was clean and tidy. Mijas which is a stunning picturesque little town is only a 5 minute drive away with lots of shops and restaurants.

Perfect

Very quiet and private villa with beautiful views. It's located at the end of a dirt road down a steep hill, so a car is highly recommended. The house is fully equipped and air-conditioned. We really enjoyed our time here.

Highly Recommended

Visited in September 2019 for ten days. The finca is just off a main road and down a steep hill so a car is recommended. However it’s very spacious and has a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. There’s also a washing machine and the Wifi connection was excellent. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite. It had everything we needed. The finca has several terraces that you can sit out on at night – we used the highest one with the best views across the valley to the sea and upwards to Mijas and the mountain behind. It’s very quiet and peaceful, just off the beaten track. We received excellent directions and on arrival were met by Karin at the BP station who took us to the finca and showed us the ropes. We had a great holiday and highly recommend this finca!

The communication with Hans and the housekeeper Karin during our booking process was excellent. The Finca has spectacular views and is a very large property over several levels of out door space. For people with walking difficulties or small children the steps to and from the pool area could be challenging, also the walk from the property to Mijas Pueblo is in the region of 30 minutes in the heat and is very step in places. However we were a group of 4 adults ageing between 45 yrs and 65 yrs and we managed a 10 day stay with no car rental as the taxi service recommended by Karin was cheap and efficient and the walk didn't kill us. The pool area was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable and we had ample kitchen equipment and utensils for all our catering needs. The upper terrace area off the living room was a total joy to sit in of an evening with a glass of wine taking in the beautiful views. Would we go back for a second visit.....YES

Absolut perfekt. Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet, der Garten lädt zum Träumen ein und der Pool ist super Man wird bei Anreise oben an der Hauptstraße abgeholt und zum Haus geführt, was ein toller Service ist. Die Straße zum Haus ist für eine geübten Autofahrer auch kein Problem und nach 2-3 x hoch und runtergehen hat man sich daran gewöhnt.Die Betten sind alle sehr bequem und die Badezimmer sind auch superWir sind glücklich und hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub

Nice finca with great pool area. We absolutely loved the different terraces all over the property. Some minor things should be fixed like the shower upstairs, the hood and some tiles in the pool. Other than that, we sincerely had a great time in the finca and would for sure recommend it to other guests.

Schöne Zeit mit kleinen Abzügen

Uns hat der Aufenthalt grundsätzlich gut gefallen, jedoch fanden wir die Anlage und das Haus sehr wenig gepflegt, was dazu führte, dass wir uns zwar wohl gefühlt haben, das Haus aber nicht uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen würden.Im oberen Badezimmer fanden wir an der Klobürste noch Reste unseres Vormieters, und die Dusche in diesem Badezimmer war aufgrund einer defekten Halterung nicht nutzbar. So dass wir immer zu fünft auf das untere Badezimmer ausweichen mussten. Dieses Badezimmer war dafür aber wirklich toll. Die Nähe zum Ort Mias fanden wir außerdem super. Die Kinder haben den Pool genossen, auch wenn wir Erwachsene auch hier ein paar Abzüge geben aufgrund der mangelnden Wartung und Pflege! Der Rand des Pools ist grün, und während unseres Aufenthalts haben sich unzählige Fliesen gelöst, die wir dann vom Poolboden aufheben mussten. Wenn auch der Preis relativ günstig für so ein Ferienhaus mit dem großen Pool ist, sollten einige Investitionen getätigt werden. Zum Beispiel könnten kaputte Bänke ausgetauscht, Schrauben nachgedreht oder Möbel ausgetauscht werden.Trotzdem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit.
