My family and I stayed in three Standard Double Rooms in October 2024. Unfortunately, none of the rooms had air conditioning, nor was there an option to turn on the fan. The temperature for two of the rooms stayed at 24.5°C, while one room reached 27.5°C. We asked the front desk if they could turn on the AC, but they informed us that city regulations prevent air conditioning during this time of year.
The staff mentioned that the heater was inadvertently on in the room set to 27.5°C and offered to turn it off. However, this didn’t resolve the issue, and the temperature remained the same. We had to keep the window open to cool the room down, but this created new concerns. Our room was on the main floor next to an entrance door, and the window lacked any safety bars—anyone could have easily climbed in.
We found it challenging to sleep due to the lack of security, the frequent noise from people coming in and out, and the smell of smoke from guests and staff taking breaks nearby. Overall, the lack of temperature control and the safety concerns made for an uncomfortable experience.
