"I don't often go to special hotels and I generally go for hotels in this price range but with very low expectations. From the moment of turning around the corner everyone in the car went "Wow" Villa Eyrie is situated along the malahat and it's got some stunning views, the building is beautiful and we were so excited to enter our room. When we did we were blown away by the amount of space we had in our room, the view again was stunning and my 18 month old boy got to run around in the garden playing with mushrooms. I was so happy with our stay and the staff were so helpful from check in to check out. We went to the restaurant in the morning for a breakfast and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best breakfast I have ever had, the bacon legitimately melted in my mouth. Some of the things that could use improvement but aren't that big of an issue are that the pool was set to a very low temperature, to the point I didn't feel comfortable bringing my son in. The building is a bit older so the ampage in the outlets turned off when we connected a microwave. And this might just be a personal issue but as a new driver getting out of the hotel and back on the highway was a bit scary personally. I really enjoyed my stay at the Villa and will most assuredly stop by on other special occasions in the future. "
