Le Domaine de la Cadenède in Millau is a very good place to invite your family or your friends during one week or WE, to celebrate a birthday or to make a family meeting or sport training. A lovely place in front of the Millau viaduct, La Cadenède is a beautiful fortified residence of the Templars period, magnificently renovated with bow windows showing on a court, dovecote from 1289, outside bread oven. This historical property will seduce you by its convivial character, its quietness, the beauty of the stones and by the many leisure activities you can enjoy on the spot and all around it, in South-Aveyron, belonging to sports, culture or nature.

Our house can accept 25 persons : 12 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 3 warm living rooms, wide dining room, 3 kitchens + summer kitchen with barbecue near the pool. You can unit all together in Troubadours living room and enjoy its vast fireplace with coat of arms belonging to lord Sambucy de Courtines who lived there in 1650. Wide dining room with kitchen in the old stables. From summer kitchen near the pool, you will enjoy the Millau viaduct designed by Lord Norman Foster. Rates indicated for a self catering rental of the whole house, up to 25 persons. They include all taxes, final cleaning, garden and pool (April to October) cleaning. Pool can be heated but with extra fee. Free wifi access. Linen provided. Catering, babysitting, French cooking training, taxi or tourist tour on demand. Helipad. Week-end rental or B&B depending on season. House open all year long.

A real experience!
We are a group of cyclists and appreciated very much the desolation and the authenticity of the environment, and also the castle with the superb vue on the Millau bridge and the Causses. We also liked the size of the castle with plenty of stylish old rooms, and we were lucky that the weather was very good, so we had breakfast and dinner on the swimming pool with a fantastic vue! And it's a splendid region for cycling, certainly for heavy trips!

Endroit magique
Gite magnifique, emplacement de rêve. Attention tout de même aux personnes sensibles à la propreté, le propriétaire entretien le gîte à l'économie et cela se retrouve sur la qualité générale (jonc de mer éliminé et sûrement difficile à nettoyer), entretien (prise électrique dangereuse, de nombreuses ampoules à changer). Nous sommes venus fin décembre et je pense qu'il est judicieux de louer aux beaux jours pour profiter de la piscine et de sa cuisine d'été. Nous étions 25 et le ressenti des personnes allait de : génial, magnifique, superbe à dommage de ceci ou cela, c'est kitsch, c'est sale. Pour ma part, ça m'a beaucoup plu et j'imagine que ce gîte loué sans ces petits défauts ne serait pas du tout au même prix.

Exceptionnel !
Un environnement exceptionnel ! Perché sur une colline avec une vue à 360*, la Cadenède offre un contraste saisissant entre l'atmosphère médiévale du château et la vue ( imprenable !) sur le viaduc de Millau, merveille de l’architecture moderne. Les plus : une grande cuisine d’été, très fonctionnelle, donnant sur la belle piscine et le splendide panorama ; de nombreux et vastes espaces de jeux comprenant un terrain de volley, de foot, un boulodrome, une table de ping-pong couverte par une belle voûte et un babyfoot ; des hauts-parleurs dispersés dans le domaine permettant d’écouter partout de la musique ; un joli piano pour les amateurs... et mille recoins pour faire de grandes parties de cache-cache !

Séjour trop vite passé...
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis au mois d’août 2018. L’accueil était parfait et les personnes très disponibles. Le château, la piscine et la cuisine d’été sont idéals pour des vacances en groupe. Nous avons bénéficié de la table de Ping pong, du baby foot, des vélos et du terrain de boules. Il y a de nombreuses activités aux alentours de Millau. Les enfants et les grands ont adoré...
