Amish stay
The house was so very roomy and a bath in every room made it very convenient. Kitchen was fully equipped. We finally figured out the TV on the last day and only the one upstairs worked. Beds very comfy the location was excellent to all activities and shopping. What we enjoyed most was the two large tables in the kitchen for eating, playing I'm coming games and just plan sitting around also the back porch was so inviting. Autumn was a great time to visit. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

It was a very nice setting . It accommodated 6 couples very well. Loved 6 bedrooms with private baths and the spacious kitchen. Main problem was that it got really cold in our bedroom at night and we did not know how to get any heat. Definitely would stay again.

Peaceful Spot to Relax
The house worked well for our extended family, which covered 3 generations. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and room for the adults to relax. The location is somewhat secluded, with only the Walnut Creek facility by us, so the traffic was minimal and for the most part very quiet. We enjoyed our time at the house and would recommend to others.

Annual Family Trip
The house is very nice and LARGE - plenty of gathering space, huge decently equipped kitchen, and great porch overlooking the peaceful Amish countryside. The truck entrance to the food plant next door was not an issue for us. We had a 1.5 hour delay at check in where we could not access the property or get in touch with the host. He did apologize and offered to send our group a meat/cheese tray from Walnut Creek foods but we had brought more food than we needed!

There were 11 of us -- most over 65. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and BIG and the country around it is beautiful. Perfect for us because it had so many bedrooms and baths, and was close to everything!!! We shopped and ate all day and then came home and played games and snacked until bedtime. Everyone wants to do it again!!

Great Place in Amish Country
We had a wonderful time at OTW! There was plenty of room for 8 adults. The house is lovely and had some extras, the 2 kitchen tables were a nice bonus. The pictures don’t do it justice, nicer than pictured. Easy to communicate with Eric. Would definitely stay again!

Family outing
We loved the location and ease of getting there. Loved that we had a bathroom for each bedroom that we used. The two bedrooms upstairs, that we used for family members that do not navigate stairs easily, had high deep tubs that made the use of the shower very difficult. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious with loads of table space for all 12 of us. We loved the openness with all the windows bringing the outdoors in to enjoy. We would love to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the porches. This house made our stay very enjoyable.

Girls weekend getaway
This was a perfect house for a fun relaxing girls weekend. The colors of the trees were magnificent and I feel that even in the summer the green out the back would be beautiful. The porch was so nice for coffee in the morning or a nice glass of wine at night. Eric the host was super friendly and easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Lots of room!
This property had lots of room for the six of us to spread out. The Kitchen is lovely and there were two highchairs and a porta crib. We didn't need them but it was a nice touch. Several windows are in need of replacement and are taped shut. Hopefully, that's on the to do list. The back porch was also a great feature but we didn't use it due to the need for a major hose down of the wall and furniture. All things considered, it still met our needs.

Great family time
We enjoyed our stay in Amish country. The weather was perfect and our family came together from all over to spend time together with our elderly father. The one bathtub on the main level needs to be replaced. The bottom is all rusted. No one wanted to use it. It would be nice to have walkin shower on main level along with a higher toilet or grab bars for elderly to get up more easily. Our father us almost 96 years old and a couple if us in our 70s have hip and knee problems. Other than that the house was very nice and comfortable.

Sanctum Inn Girl’s Trip
The house was very big. We loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. The kitchen was large. Only complaints are the cleaning people did not sweep the floor. Very dirty. We had to sweep. Also, downstairs hallway 2 lights were blown and 1 was missing a bulb. We had to put the bulbs in ourselves.

The house has good lighting and numerous windows that make it good to sew in. (The windows could use a good washing) It also has two large tables in the kitchen to work on. The back porch has lots of rocking chairs to sit out on to relax. The view is good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The host was extremely helpful. We have already booked for next year.

Deception, Need updating
The property was not in a great state. When we arrived at the front door the bushes was grown up around the front porch, nothing like the picture. there was bees everywhere. We was not able to sit on the porch. The lights were out on the front porch so we could not sit out at night. There was construction going on so all day it was really noisy. The information in the Guest book was incorrect, we had a toilet to overflow and I sent an email and we finally reached the property manager but nothing was done. Trash from the previous visitors were left at the back door, there were maggots and lots of flies everywhere. They were coming through the vents on the first floor. The water pressure would go up and down and it you would get almost scolded if you were in the shower when the pressure would return to normal. This was a true safety issue. Two of the bathrooms facing the construction site did not have window coverings, so everyone was uncomfortable taking a shower or bath during certain hours. The property manager did finally contact us and come over but gave no real solution but that we would get a refund. A $100 is not a real refund with all the things that we endured. This place need to be updated, the floors i n the bathrooms are cracking and the bathtubs are so high that if you are short it is hard to get into. The drainage in the tubs did not drain well. The people who slept in the basement froze because the air could not be regulated. These issues have been sent to the property manager and I hope that this house is updated. It is a nice house but it just need to be renovated and the plumbing needs to be updated.

Location, location, location BUT
Thank you for allowing us to rent this house. The overall the experience was a very good one. We loved the location and the accessability to all the Amish country side has to offer. The reason we only gave it a 4 is that the house definitly needs a deep cleaning. The upstairs bathroom was not cleaned since the last renter left (trash in garbage can, shower and sink were dirty), bedroom nightstands had watermarks, on the mainfloor the sheves have not been wiped down for a while (dust and watermarks). The toilet in the main (king) bedroom on the main floor clogged up everytime it was used. We were told to leave keys in doors BUT there were NO keys anywhere. Many lightbulbs on the front of the house are out. Just an FYI for the next renters bring Salt, Pepper and Sugar as these are not in the spice drawer but many other spices are. Also we were not able to place towels into the washingmachine as there was still washed items in it! A few more blankets for the beds would be nice as especially in the basement rooms it gets cold. Overall we loved it and it would not take much to give it a 5 rating.
