Staff were very welcoming on arrival. Room was great,spacious and clean for the two of us for one night. The staff member who welcomed us to breakfast in the morning was very friendly and polite and very helpful. Was a little noisy with people in the corridors quite late on at night but didn’t wake my partner who was counting sheep! Would defo stay again :)

Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - the staff were very welcoming and we were allocated a ground floor room which made it very easy when he needed out. Good size of room with seating to enable us to relax. Close to Willen Lake for great walks

Overall, the hotel was a pleasant stay, with friendly and accommodating staff. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. On the first night, I found brown marks which looked like poo on the bed sheets, and on the second night, after the sheets were changed, I discovered a dirty sweat and body dirt mark with oil patches. I found dog treats from the previous guest. I was given fresh sheets to make the bed myself. It such a shame as it was a lovely hotel While the front desk staff were helpful and understanding, I would not recommend staying at this hotel again due to the hygiene issues.
