It started off rough. At the entrance from the parking structure, the call/service button seemed not to work. I pressed it 2 or 3 times with no response. I then used my phone to call the front desk, twice. (The forst time I let it ring 15-20 times, but no answer) I had to explain that the button wasn't working, and we needed to get in to check in. Whem checking in, I was asked if I had reservations, because they had no open rooms. I did, and it took them several minutes to "find "us a room. While waiting we heard 2 people complain that the AC in their room wasn't working. They were given box fans, and told it was being worked on. I wasn't told anything about it... well our room had no AC either. When we returned later in the evening, I asked if the AC was fixed yet and was told that it was not. If thwy had any more fans tehy would send one up.

We are requesting a refund. We arrived and the room was still being "cleaned". There was no functioning air conditioning. The temperature in the room was over 80F and AC would not engage. When we talked to the front desk, there was no surprise nor any offer of help. They only indicated they were fully booked. I asked for a refund / cancellation, which they agreed to... however, having paid through Travelocity, there is some doubt about getting my refund. We will see -- if I don't get the refund, probably the last time I use the site for booking.

First time staying in Milwaukee. Came to town for the Morgan Wallen Concert. The room location was awesome, it was right by the elevator and right by the parking ramp entrance. Limited towels in the room and the smoke alarms going off at 1:00am were definite downers but the breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

The hotel is in a great location with convenient parking. The interior was clean but is old and run down. We couldn’t turn the heat off, or the Ac on. The bathroom ceiling was all patched up. The fan in bathroom didn’t work, it made an awful sound. The bed was not comfortable either. We have stayed in many Hampton inns, this one was not great.

Disappointing
Front desk clerks were as helpful as they could but overall the cleanliness of the property was very disappointing. Had to switch rooms the first night due to the room being dirty. Second room bed was clean, but there were condiment wrappers and clothing tags behind the tv stand. The refrigerator was running but not cold. Had to request an iron several times. I understand this building is old, but housekeeping needed to be a little more present.

I booked the hotel about a month out and unfortunately the hotels.com website didn’t list that the pool was shut down. This was one of reasons we picked this hotel was to have a pool. We had a very disappointed child when we arrived.

I have stayed at hundred of Hilton's in my day and I have never seen one so disgusting. I am shocked Hilton allows their brand to be on this property. Nothing worked in the room (clock, tv, coffee maker) and the overall hallways, entry way and grounds were in horrible shape. Smelled like old gross smoke every where you went, the floor trim and other parts of the hallways were torn off or holes and scrapes everywhere. It literally seemed like it should be on the verge of a tear down. The parking ramp they have you park in is beyond sketchy and we did not feel safe. The elevators they tell you to take from ramp were not working on ANY floor. Not sure we would have trusted them anyway. Hilton...do better or take your brand off this hotel. When Hilton Honors customers are looking for a Hilton property, this one gives you a really bad name! Staff at front desk was not helpful and rude to our friends who checked in also. They didn't want to do anything that required extra effort. Again, not true of most Hilton staff. The one compliment I will give is the breakfast staff worked their Butts off each morning. Hilton: Renovate or remove your name from this property! Don't stay here!
