I'm going to be brutally honest The good thing about the Americ- Inn in Burnsville, MN across from the Fairfield Inn by Marriott and the Hampton Inn by Hilton and The original pancake House (the hotel rooms are very affordable very affordable ) It has a swimming pool, workout room It has a laundry room (they sell laundry detergent and fabric softener $2 a box) the washer I believe is $3 and the dryer the same just one washer and one dryer They serve hot breakfast in the morning best thing they got going is the waffle maker and coffee They have two suites in the entire hotel building They have a few connecting rooms which I like I view them they're not bad at all. They do accommodate you with toothbrush and toothpaste for guests for free if needed All the staff that I came across were very nice and they accommodate you understanding as well! The rooms have a small stinky stench to them (bring air freshener ) It is a non-smoking building but on a Friday night when I checked in I smell marijuana smoke (bring air freshener) I believe it can use a small upgrade on the furniture that has been destroyed by the guests The rooms are not dirty at all Has two levels 1st floor and second floor (no elevator) ( staircase) Nice large parking lot shared with the original pancake House I believe... 3stars 2026-2027

The night I was there it was very loud. Laundry was broken, ice machine was broken on the first floor. When things are broken and can’t use and you stay there for weeks at a time they don’t give you a discount on your stay.

Staff was wonderful. Room had ducktape holding one of the artworks together, mold or mildew in the bathroom tub and sink seels. Heater would work and then start blowing cold air. We stayed on the coldest days of the year.
