Hot tub and pool were closed. The exercise room was sad, with lights that didn’t work, no weights, and the only exercise machine that wasn’t a treadmill was mostly broken. Staff appeared to not want to be there. I received a text inquiry as to how my stay was going and gave a poor rating, but nobody ever followed up.

The pool was closed which was what my kids were looking forward to. The front desk staff were laughing at us and the toilet in our room was running and wouldn’t flush. They did get us a new room which I appreciated.

Very disappointed. The reason we chose this hotel was the fact they have two pools. If one is too full or to many little kids we could use the other. What we arrived we were told they closed both pools as nd both hot tubs for maintenance. We were not offered compensation or even an apology. It was told to us as a matter of fact.

Time to update this place.
Place is becoming outdated. I stay there quite a bit and my brother used to stay there often, does not stay there anymore. He stays at the nearby Hampden. Carpet is old, torn, needs to be stretched at a minimum. I used my desk last visit and the desk char was worn out, with holes in the seat. Its becoming the local dive hotel. I grew up in Wayzata nearby, and visit every 2-3 months. The attached bar is the only thing going for it. I often stat at the Sheraton Ridgedale now.

Are you sure this is still owned by Radisson? It is run down - a bit seedy, holes in the walls, ripped curtains, stains on the sheets. Great location, kind staff.
