The room had a broken plugin plate near the bed pretty sure OHSA would have a problem with that. Mold and peeling from the bathroom ceiling generally just unkept.

The staff was great!!!! Continental breakfast had all the standards to get the day started. The lobby looked good when I booked online. Was a little worn when I saw it in person. The hallways had a weird smell and ice machine was covered with a tarp as if it was under construction. The room was okay but the furniture was old, dated and worn. This hotel was fine but is definitely overdue for an upgrade!!! The room could have been cleaner. I will be coming back to this area in the future but I will definitely try a different hotel.

I made a mistake and asked the manager to rebook my additional night which was available and he was extremely rude. During rebook I was stressed as I was at work and my room type was available and he refused. Then food was packed with computer and food thrown away I was charged for suite I feel like I should have been left in original room and I was comped 30 I should have asked for a full comp. He has zero customer service and I work as one don’t want him fired I want compt to original price of my room they moved me out of. It was horrible customer service

We stayed the weekend. Our son goes to college in Minneapolis and we were visiting for his bday. Saturday night there was something going on at the hotel. 9 cop cars were in the parkinglot. Guns out and shields up. They came into the lobby. Not sure what was going on.

I have stayed at this particular hotel many times on my trips through Minneapolis (I have stayed at others as well) … this is now my go to when in town as I have always been very pleased with it. No complaints at all. Clean, quiet, safe, great price value, very nice breakfast included and friendly, helpful staff that take pride in doing their job well. Will continue to seek it out when in town.
