I got a room in what appeared to be low season so I feel I got very good value for what I paid for. The rooms and hotel are relatively new (was told 2020?) and are wonderfully decorated and proportioned. Overall, I felt like great value for money. One or two issues: 1) Even though the rooms are lovely--sized and decorated generously--the showers had surprisingly poor water pressure even though they have a rain/power option. May seem like a small thing but if you're trying to warm up after a freezing Minnesota day it is frustrating. 2) They have valet parking which is an extra fee per night. If you choose not to take it you have to park a surprising distance from the front door. Which again, in the summer is not an issue, but in -19 temperature, you kind of want to be near the door. Designed to make you choose valet perhaps? Finally, because there were not may guests the hotel staff while all lovely to talk to, were all a bit overstretched and were not as attentive. I found the food to be okay. Not great, not terrible. I'm pointing out the negatives because that is what I like to read in reviews, however, overall I found this to be a great value for a really nice hotel and I would stay there again for the price I paid. I'm sure it would be different in high season. (I didn't use the gym or pool facilities but they looked pretty nice.)

We stayed around the holidays and it was so beautiful. The staff were helpful and the rooms were very clean. We made a reservation at Kyndred Hearth which is worth it as they book quickly.

Beautiful hotel but I will never come back. I spent the little money I have for a nice night anniversary trip with my partner and the beds and pillows were so uncomfortable I woke up with a migraine that led me to throw up. I could not get comfortable at all. But beautiful hotel. Waste of money to go sleep at such a beautiful hotel with such an uncomfortable bed and pillows. I am 12 hours into the migraine still from it! It wasn’t there before I checked in so it was the crappy bed and pillows.

Great Weekend Getaway
The Omni is a beautiful property near the Vikings training facility. The staff at the check in desk were all courteous and efficient, as were the barista in the Ten Drops coffee shop and the servers in the Ember & Ice restaurant. The spa on site was impeccable in the service and amenities, although the outdoor whirlpool was closed for weather / maintenance. The hotel pool is very clean and well-maintained, if a little cozy. They should have a hot tub available in the pool area, and adults-only pool hours after 10pm. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bathroom that had a lighted magnified mirror (great for applying mascara) and a beautiful rainfall shower with nicely-scented toiletries. The Magic of Lights outdoor display is located right outside the hotel, and we could see the whole display from the windows on the upper floors of the hotel in the evenings. The Kyndred Hearth restaurant onsite is fantastic, as well! The Omni at Viking Lakes was a great weekend getaway for us - worth the splurge!

We stayed one night for Christmas while visiting family. The hotel was wonderful in every way except the swimming pool. It was a disappointment compared to the reat of the hotel. It would be a good investment to add a hot tub and softer lighting.
