Upon arrival the parking garage was confusing. There was no email saying that we needed to bring our parking ticket with us in order to get back into the garage so I had to wait for someone to open the door to get to my vehicle. Then checking in I could barely hear the person who checked us in. I had to ask four times to speak louder because I could not hear her. This made me feel frustrated because I’m not deaf or hearing impaired. Also got to the room and it was hotter than a sauna in our room. As well as our fridge wasnt even cold in which we brought beverages. I had to adjust the temp in the fridge which means i had to pull it. The top of the fridge was dusty. Then we went to the maoui maoui bar and drink were way to expensive and they really didnt know how to make a simple sex on the beach plus they out of a lot of stuff that normal Bars in this area usaully have in stock. I know this hotel is great but this experience could have been better. I’m not trying to be a snob but there was just a lot of things that we were not impressed by this time.

Favorite Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis
We love the Rand Tower for our hometown "staycations." They are so welcoming and professional, the rooms are sharp and modern and fantastic views of downtown Minneapolis. The rates are often very low - beyond reasonable - for the quality of the property. Jamie went out of her way to take care of us - it made the stay very special. Thank you!

I stayed at this hotel two months ago and was genuinely impressed. While I considered trying the Hilton, I find it hard to resist returning here. The reception staff is professional, proactive, and attentive, making everything run smoothly. However, housekeeping could improve by replenishing the coffee machine with water. Overall, the room was clean, and I enjoyed the hotel amenities, especially the Aromatherapy Associates products. When I checked in, I requested room 710 instead of 1610, and the front desk staff took the time to accommodate my request. I also had a wonderful brunch at La Blondette—the omelette was delicious! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent staff and service.
