This is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen in my life. Everything was clean and perfect. The staff was all so professional and helpful, especially the gentleman who served us breakfast at the drake this morning! The whole experience was perfect.

I used this hotel for my honeymoon. Its very gorgeous and clean. I feel like in a dream. Staff was very nice. The only cons is the area of St Paul, its not safe to walk outside. And is very over price. Looks that is very cheap but with the valet parking is more expensive .

Beautiful old hotel, old bar was beautiful and a perfect place to meet friends, walked across the street for a nice dinner at Kincaid’s and then walked to a concert, perfect stay and perfect location to walk to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was booked solid, and elevators were running slow, so hotel personnel made sure to escort guests to the service elevator to help speed up wait time. Room was comfortable, clean, and very nice. The only issue was the attitude of the hostess of the St Paul Grill. We asked if they had room for us and she gave us a very rude “noooo” twice while shaking her head and giving us an incredulous look. No need to be disrespectful. We did end up finding a spot at the bar to eat and the service was very good despite being busy. Everyone else was super personable and we were treated very nice. Thats one area they definitely excel in. How they treat you is something special.

Beautiful hotel, perfect spot in St Paul. The restaurant is white tablecloth fine dining. That said, aside from the tremendous selection of whiskies at the bar, the rest of the menu fails to impress. Just not a great selection, and the preparation is not consistent with a 5-Star restaurant, and one I spent some $500 at. Was a disappointment, though quite convenient and hearty fare.
