Built in 2011 this amazing house is nestled is the small town of Minneiska, MN (pop. 100) which is located 15 miles from Winona, MN (pop. 26,000). The house has 5 bedrooms and and a fold-out couch in the basement so it can easily sleep 10 or more. The master bathroom is equipped with a whirlpool tub. Enjoy a full kitchen and laundry room. The house is equipped with wifi and cable television as well as a pool table your entertainment. You will have excellent cellular service in the home. Enjoy the the wonderful views of the Mississippi River or the grand bluffs surrounding this picturesque little town from one of two decks or a screened porch area. You are a five minute walk from a boat landing that puts you on the river in minutes. Minneiska is located in the heart of the several quaint river towns that flourish with events and interesting places and things to see throughout the year. Enjoy the beautiful drives along the river on both the Wisconsin and Minnesota side.

What a wonderful place to enjoy while traveling! The view from the very large living area and screened in deck is beyond words! There is ample space everywhere for the guests. It is well stocked with necessities, from TP, quilts, pots and pans, to cooking helps. Two things to be aware of if booking. The driveway is very steep and the stairs to the front door are well kept wood and gravel. Also the space seems to be on one heating zone which adjusts in the middle living level. This leaves it warm on the third floor and very cold on the lowest level.

Hiking getaway

Nice getaway for a hiking trip. Three level home with bathroom on each level. Beautiful view. As luck would have it the Northern Lights were out while we were there and we have a spectacular view!

We had a fabulous weekend getaway with WSU college friends & spouses! The house has amazing views of the river! There was great bedrooms & bathrooms! All of the amenities available. Scott was responsive via messenger. We would definitely stay here again!

Stunning Views of the Mississippi River

We enjoyed the impressive views and spending time on the screened-in porch. (The views are more impressive than the photos show, especially at sunset!) Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and other kitchen items. It's a beautiful and scenic drive along the river to get there. The driveway is very steep, but there are a few pull off spots next to the road for easier parking. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

House was as described. Outside railings were a bit shakey - don't lean against them.

Driveway and steps up to back door were quite steep. Definitely not handicapped accessible. House was great space and room for all 5 couples. Beds were comfy. Beautiful views of the Mississippi and the colorful trees in the woods. Owner was very helpful in getting the TV working and directing us to a Pickelball court.

River getaway

Home very clean and accommodating. Listing needs include very steep incline to get to front door. Parking is challenging. Also need light on the parking area and over the door so keypad is visible at night. View of the river was as advertised.

It has been beautifully updated and spacious place to enjoy with the company you are with. The only thing that was deceiving is the steep hill you have to walk up in order to get in. It was difficult for myself with arthritis in my hips. Also, the beds on the top level are as hard as a rock. Other than those 2 things it was extremely enjoyable weekend. We would stay again.
