Very cold in the hallways and dining area. Had to wear a coat for breakfast . Jets didn’t work in hot tub, hot tub lining was abrasive. Coffee pot in room had not been cleaned from previous occupants with old grinds left in it. Manager was never available to talk to when asked for. Staff were all walking around with big hoodies on as well. Breakfast itself was good. Also sidewalks weren’t shovelled.

Probably not again!
The room we were given had already been used so we were directed to another. The temperature was hard to control all night so we didn’t get very much sleep. Also the bathroom fan was so loud that it gave you a headache, it was the same switch as the light so we tried not to use the light either.

This is the second time I am booked this type of room, a king with an accessible shower meaning you can walk right in. Both times we got to the hotel and were told that there was no room like that available. Housekeeping was not great. As well, one of the lamp bulbs in our room was burnt out, upon further inspection there was broken glass behind the nightstand. As well as a very thick coating of dust on the headboard. Toilet Appeared to have been used when we got to the room And was not clean on the seat. Will not be rebooking here.

The first room I was given was not cleaned by housekeeping for the beds were not made and cleary showed someone had checked out. The front desk person tried the best he could and expressed his frusration. The room that I ended up getting was evident needed a really thorough cleaning. There was not hand soap in the bathroom.

Property itself was in decent shape. Breakfast was average - most hotel breakfasts these days don't seem to offer much. We couldn't figure out why a hotel would supply shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower, but left us no hand soap to use when washing our hands. Most people travel with shampoo, etc but who carries their own handsoap!?

Our initial room had not been cleaned, and replacement room has a spotlight shining in. I guess I like my room dark, and the light came right in. Will not stop me from staying here, just to bring to someone's attention.

Not as sparkling as I would like.
This is the second time I have stayed at this Sonesta in 3 months. I was disappointed that the water fountains have not been fixed since August, the dining room still needs a deep cleaning (the upholstery on the chairs is very dirty) and the hallway carpets still have not been shampooed. My door did not shut without slamming it. The cleaning maintenance does not seem to be occurring regularly. The staff in August was very helpful - and it appears there have been some new capable staff hired since August. I hope the next few hires are backed with money for some of the regular maintenance that needs tended to. Having said all of that The room was very comfortable and as long as no one wants to visit me in my room - I would probably stay here again.
