This was my first bad experience with a VRBO property in over 6 years of using this app. The property is not even close to what is described, and I am still trying to work with the owner to get my refund for the days I did not stay there due to the incorrect posting details. This is not a 1 bedroom for starters, it's a studio. There is NO KITCHEN. This room only has bathroom sinks inside. The "kitchen sink" is an outdoor sink by the pool. The "oven" is a toaster oven in a closet next to the refrigerator and storage shelves. There is a BBQ outside and I assume that what they refer to as the stove. There is a microwave in a cabinet on the other side of the room, next to the bathroom. There is no kitchen table inside, only a desk that I was told I could do my food prep there because it was raining when we were visiting. The back yard is beautiful, but not private at all. The neigh house sits higher up and looks down into the yard. The owners actually have a ring camera that looks directly at the hot tub and into the bedroom windows where the bed is! This is not disclosed on the profile, so it actually violates the policy for VRBO. We had spoken to Alma the next morning after we arrived and she agreed to refund us if we chose to leave and book another house. So that' what we did and were able to check in the new place the next day. So, we ended up staying two nights here and then left expecting to be refunded for the five nights we did not stay. This has not happened yet!
