Lake Vilz is a link in the wonderful chain of lakes south of Mirow - you can swim and fish, canoe or boat and discover the natural beauty of the region from the water. The small town of Mirow is idyllically located on the edge of Lake Mirow. Visit the romantic castle island with the residential castle, the historic gatehouse and the Johanniterkirche. Many restaurants and cafés in and around Mirow invite you to take a leisurely break with a cup of coffee or a fresh fish dish. The Mirow lock on the Müritz-Havel waterway is also worth seeing.
